What do you think makes for a good discussion on mylot?

Hi there, well you can also say that, because people will only participate if they can also relate to the questions you have asked. But if the question is limited because of belief, location and circumstance, then only a few can answer back. I don't post much, i reply more. I don't think I can ask more since most have been asked here and when I try to, I can only go to search menu to seek that topic, and presto, its been there posted so the tendency is that, I only needed to reply to the posts of other members here. But if you think that you really wanted to ask a personal problem or opinion of others before you purchase something or because you wanted some testimonials of people then you can post it here on Mylot. I guess that is not against the rule here in Mylot.

Hi Franciscan . I think that discussions should be about some newses , social thoughts like global warming and some useful informations like this site is legit and that site is a scam . It should benefit others . I hate those discussions which are about the CREATOR's personal milestone like it is his/ her 's 100th post etc . The discussion should assure that people can express their views . I also hate poll discussions like money or beauty which I saw yesterday ! . The discussions should ensure that the replier posts long posts instead OF ONE LINERS AND TWO LINERS . ANYWAYS, happy mylotting and have a nice day !

Hi franciscan; The type of discussion that I like to see are informational ones, something that is educational. Something that myself and other mylot members can learn something from. I find these types of discussions most entertaining and useful overall as appose to something like, what is your favorite color etc. I am not into the one answer discussions. To me those are a waste of space and time. For yourself, if you want to see what makes for a good discussion in MyLot, as far as the numbers go, take a look at the top discussions. Today's Top http://www.mylot.com/w/todaystop/1.aspx Meaning those that get 70-100 or more responses. To me, those are what makes a good MyLot discussion. For the past several years, being a member here, I find that some of the highest rated discussion are of absolutely no interest to me but are hot topics.

Hi littlefranciscan Posting discussion is one of things that I always like to do in the site.If i you were to check my profile, i have a lot of posted discussion.Not just an ordinary discussion,but a quality discussion.So how do we make good discussion or quality discussion?First and foremost,the title should be attractive to all the members.How are you going to do that?Make a title that will make the members think? Second,a good discussion should contain a quality content.you should put all the important details in the discussion for the members not to ask anymore and will also lead for the responder to post a quality response. A discussion can also be considered as a good discussion if you can attach some pictures that is related to your discussion.In that point, it can attract other users to respond on your discussion.I hope my response helps you.happy mylotting!
