or should I say one eyebrow Today for the first time I noticed that Gissi has no eyebrow over his left eye, which confused me and made him mad when I pointed it out He was lying on my Lap on his back and I was talking away to him and rubbing his Tummy ( he is not to good at the moment, it is his Anal glance) anyway I was talking to him and looked at his eyes when all of a sudden I noticed it, I said 'Gissi you have only one eyebrow, what have you done?' He growled at me, well hang on a minute I only noticed it I didn't remove it I then went to check the old Photos and well he did have both there so I really do not know what he has done them, I think he went to Salon to have them done and they made an error on him lol Anyway after I said that to him, he rolled of my Lap jumped up on my Arm came very close to my Face as if to give me a kiss, next thing he sneezed and yep all over my Face then ran of wagging his Tail and looking at me all innocent Oh I so love this Gissi, just have to remember not to point out his beauty Faults I guess But I still want to know what happened to his left eyebrow Anyone out there know what has happened to it, if you do please tell me

Nope...No eyebrow here! I wonder what happened to it…If he’s been to the groomers lately maybe someone has chopped it off by mistake otherwise I have no idea. It can’t be licked off or pulled off...However Gissi lost his eyebrow I hope it grows back again soon!

I have not found any stray eyebrows at my house. So please tell Gissi he should look elsewhere for the missing eyebrow. How odd. How do ya lose an eyebrow??

so strange i feel it is.when its eyebrow was lost,i think it was able to have a feeling ache.i guess it must cry when having a pain.or the other possibility, there was someone passing by your home who played a joke to cut his left eyebrow with a razor.

Hi Gaby,,This is so funny, well maybe not for Gissi, but what could have happened to his eye brow? It had to be the groomer..I mean eyebrows don't just fall off. Does it look like it might have been shaved, or feel like it? I have also been going through the anal gland problem..Poor Lambchop,,he suffered with this for a week. He is one of those dogs that needs to be done like every three weeks or so and taking him to the groomer every three weeks is just not possible for me financially..In any case, there is a video on line that teaches you how to do this yourself. If you want, I'll give you the link. It looks fairly easy but I know Lambchop is going to put up quite a fuss if and when I try it. It is such a gross thing too..yuck..My little Irish Setter Tabby does not ever have this problem. I also have had dogs my whole life and never experienced the problem, until Lambie..Do you let your groomer do it or how do you handle it? Let me know if you want the link to the "Do it yourself" gland expression and I'll find it for you..Hope he's feeling better soon..J

He sent it to Spunky to replace the hair she lost when she had the porcupine quills removed from her nose and face. lol Either than, or the hairs fell out from the stress he's been under lately Gabs. I wonder if they will grow back in? Something to ask you vet about.....

I can't tell you where his eyebrow went but I do have a similar story about a border collie/English setter mix I had once. Jake was an absolutely wonderful dog. He was very intelligent and whenever I'd ask him a question, he seemed to do his best to answer it. One day, I noticed that the black pigment on his nose (which was entirely black) was disappearing in one spot. I asked him "Where is your pigment? Go find it!" He appeared to start looking for it! I think he found it, too, because it wasn't long after that conversation that his pigment came back. I have no idea why he was losing the pigment on his nose or why it came back but maybe Gissi's eyebrow is wherever Jake's pigment went. Hopefully, Gissi will find it again.

Sounds like someone got carried away with the clippers, hope it grows back. Arn't dogs funny, we had one that got terrible upset if you stuck your tounge out at him We would go off and sulk for an hour or two. Sadie hates it if people's voices get raised, she gets mad at us and will even bite, she's not good around children.
