what do you do when you feel youve gained weight?

I have noticed I have gained quite a bit of weight in the past couple months. It came on slowly and slowly creeped up on me but its there. I like to think its because I had got a desk job over winter and didnt excercise. So Id like to think thats it and being that its summer I will be more active and get rid of it. But I had always had a fast metabolism that just RECENTLY calmed down so now Im having a hard time. Im still used to eating the same stuff just no longer gets burned off as fast as it used to. What do you do whenever you find you gain weight. Do you right away hit the gym or do you reason it out with yourself. What do you do?

just eat less and have at least 1 day fast if you could manage and if it won't affect your biological needs. at least that is only during winter.

my dear,the bulk of toxins in our body are stored in our fat reserves, what i meant about 1 day fast is to fast on water only, no solid foods/foods in any kind to be taken. the longer we fast on water only, the more fat we'll burn and the more toxins we'll eliminate from our system. take it from me. i've been doing this pattern many years ago. just have a try and see what happens to your body when you begin to eat and drink nothing but water... at least during winter only while you are on the sedentary mode. thank you!

honestly i would be happy because i can eat all i want but never gain wait. So yeah if i did gain wait now i would be really happy xD

well, i don't care that much about my weight, and that's why I actually don't do anything special when I gain weight - the only two things that I do everytime is to make some moer exercises every day and also to eat more fruits and vegetables, and less meat and fat foods, and also to eat more citrus fruits!

Hi YoungInLove, if I find I have gained weight I usually will cut down the amount of fatty meat like fried chicken as well as high starchy food like rice and desserts which contain lots of sugar daily. Besides I have to discipline myself strictly to have at least an hour of physical exercise daily. We have to this once we know we have gained a bit of weight. It's quite difficult to get rid of the excessive weight if we don't start to control it at the very beginning. Therefore we have to read the weighing scale regularly to know our weight Happy posting

It's good for me to gain weight cuz i constantly go to the gym. It'll only mean that i'm gaining muscles. I'm trying to gain weight recently and It's really hard when i'm trying to burn fats and gaining muscle at the same time.

When I feel like I have gained a few pounds I try and exercise more and eat less. I have always had a slow metabolism, and gained weight very easily. I really am no more sedentary in the winter as in the summer. The thing about the winter for me is the Holidays. I am disabled, so I am not very active no matter what the season. I have always exercised, and I still do but there are a lot of exercises I can no longer do. Since I don't do a lot of exercises, I don't expend a lot of calories but every little bit helps.

I will maintain my daily exercise and minimize the food that I take. More on water. Just go back to the basic and natural way of losing weight.

As far as I am concerned, I think I am want to be fat now. For me, I think I am not fat as I want. I usually eat alot of food in my daily life, but with a result that I am still not the fat that I want to be. So when I feell I am gaining weight, I think I willl be so glad to see that consequence.

I have long lost my battle with weight gain because I have a hormonal imbalance. But one of the main culprits in my weight gain comes from stress, not from food. A lot of people have noticed that I have lost a few pounds recently, and I attribute this to a stress free environment at home. I am also eating more fruits and vegetables, which also makes me lose weight. But I don't exercise right away when I feel that I have lost weight. I do try to reason with myself that my body is changing because I am getting old.

Well it is not a big issue to my hubby if I gain weight. As a matter of fact, he is happy that I gained weight, just an enough pounds to keep some lean .I don't go to gyms because I am also busy. I only do correct my food intake and then I also do some Chinese traditional medicine that keeps me on the right shape. I do love to eat more on green salads and cut off some carb and some sweets. I also drink tea from Tiens and this makes me feel so good.

i think i have gained weight by ..when i was standing on a wall and i jumped down and i feel a pain in my foot..and the i thought a minute and then i thought to reduce my weight and now it is really hard to reduce the weight but i think is is all diet can do and bring me back to my normal one so i have to do regular work to bring back my power and i have to go a long to do that and i need a training in that..it is so easy to gain weight but it is so hard to reduce weight..have fun..

You know what you have to do when you gain weight? Just DO NOTHING...DO NOTHING!!!!Do not eat but drink. Do not sit or lie but move...Very simple mate...Just do nothing

Hiiii YoungInLove Well i increase my exercise time and i work more for few days till my eight come back to normal.Also i start cutting oily and spicy things.Eat less outside,prefer home made simple food.It happen with me when go to out of city and i come back home i often notice increase in my weight due to all eating pizza and cakes outside.I just start cutting back on sugar and rice and cheese.

Gaining weight is one of my agendas in life right now. When I was younger I could gain weight with no difficulties. However, I don't like to weight over than 110 lbs because I always find myself heavy and my clothes won't fit right.:-) Whenever, I see the scale going higher, I slowed down with my food intake. I am still eating the same food but only in lesser quantity. Plus, I sometimes don't eat breakfast or I simply skip lunch.

as for me..i do gained about few pounds since last year and it does bother me..my clothes won't fit and at some times i hope to get back my old weight in a flash.then i started to control the amount of food i eat and i jog few times a week.it's not consistent for me but i don't do diet.it's just make me feel the hunger and it will make your body feel exhausted of the lack of nutrients.cut off any sweet foods,junk food and control sugar the intake

If I notice that I have gained weight I look at what I am eating and not how much I am eating. It is usually because I have eaten a bit too much fatty food or very sweet fruit. I will then cut it down and work out what I need to eat. If I do that, then I will remain eating that way until such time as I go out for a meal with friends or something and get into bad eating habits again, eating the wrong types of food. Exercise comes into it too at times, but I am usually pretty active anyway, but if the weather has been bad, it may be that I have been staying indoors and sitting around on the computer a lot, that tends to slow down my metabolism. _Derek

Hi yougnInLove. Oboy the subject gain weight is for shore on topics for every1 of us. I was a member of the weightwatchers some years ago and I lost a lot of weight while I was with them. Then suddenly, when I had just a few kilos left, and for eight month the weight was standing still. I did all the stuff that was required but did not lose any weight so I asked to start the next level but they said I had to lose the kilos that was left. Well, it did not helped me and I was fighting with it for a few more months still nothing happen and I got tired of it...so in the end I got those kilos I lost back on me again and a few more. Now, I have come to my senses and like me for who I am and who I look. Yes, gaining weight is no fun I know that. But, our body┬┤s are not made buy computers and they change during our age change to. That is the nature and nothing we can do anything about. I eat what I like, I exersice as much as my body allow me but I do not think of my weitht anymore the kilos are there so what?
