This is one reason criminal doesn't get afraid of doing something illegal or kill someone..they know nothing will happen on them..they will be free..Take the example of kasab the convict of 26/11 mumbai attack..Who had took many life..but still he is alive .today the court will announce its verdict for his crime..after 18 months..and i'm not sure he will sentence to death..if court announce sentence to death to him..He has another option to appeal against the court verdict in supreme court..if supreme court denies his appeal he is also have an option to stand in front of president..think my friend how the hell is our law..after killing so many people kasab has such a option to do so...and might he can get merciful verdict form any of them..i'm damn sure..i have full confidence in our law..it will survive because of our f*king law.. What you think..our law is good or you have same thought as i have over this..? Please make your perception clear in this serious issue...

Hi siliguri, It happen not just in your country, but also in many countries, my friend. It's like, law isn't enforced on the basis of justice, but only based on the verses or chapters of law, which have too many weaknesses. Maybe, what we ought to question is a loyalty of the lawyers in a matter of justice and humanity. When someone committed crime with real and convincing, why should they remain defensible? What else needs to be proved? I think, if every lawyer, prosecutor andjudges, placing justice above anything, then law enforcement anywhere in this world will be better.

Hi siliguri, Laws are good in India. The problem is - those people have enough money they can influence politicians and politicians are making the country a hell. The long term course of argument is another drawback. Why these people need this much time to finalise a case. They are taking ten or more years for serious issues. If they can punish the culprit within a limited period of time, it will increase the confidence of people in Law. The long time is enough for making loopholes in Law and make an escape.
