How many tupes of plant do you grow?

I sat down and started to make a list for my blog of all the plants I grow and was quite surprised there were over a hundred varieties (not counting the weeds!). Of course I've got multiply strawberry plants, a big potato patch and so on and I'm not about to guess how many individual plants I have growing but I was quite surprised. I was also quite pleased that I could remember what they all were - of course, I'll go out into the garden later and spot some I forgot to include on the list. Do you grow many different plants or do you stick to just a few you know you love?

What is Cats Whiskers? Do you have a latin name for it? Do you eat it? I'm all curious now - like a cat!

It's an herb...that's all I know. ;-) The person who gave the cutting to me said that it's useful for treating cough.

I am luck enough to have a large garden and grow lots of different plants, from bedding plants, potted plants, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. I wouildn't like to go out and count them all as it would take me ages. Like the weeding lol

Well, I haven't grown anything in several years due to my illness. I hope to get back at it either this year or next. I have a whole porch area at my new appartent that should get some nice sun. It is at the back of the building so I am hoping they won't be taken. I would like to grow strawberries, cherry tomatoes, ornamental lettuce, and some herbs. I like all the verities of basil. I would also like to have some lavender and a rosemary. Maybe some lemon thyme too.

lol not counting the weeds That's funny. I know what you mean though, if weeds had any kind of monetary value, we would all be rich. My husband and I had over a hundred plants at one time, house plants mostly. We kept a little green house. Some were in there, others in the house than some in the yard. Don't have much of anything anymore. They have a huge garden by the cabin, I have four house plants now.

I don't grow plants. It's in their best interest I don't.

Where I live now the garden is very old, so has hundreds of different plants, shrubs and trees that were planted by previous owners of the garden. I have added lots of plants as well. I grow things to eat every year as well - peppers, tomatoes, courgettes, lettuce etc. Growing things is very satisfying!
