Is anyone here currently involved with ChaCha? I just started working for them yesterday and so far I really like it. It's a good way to make a little extra income and I plan on taking advantage of that once my son is born. How long have you been working with ChaCha and what are your experiences?

I've been on ChaCha for about a month (a little less), and I typically don't spend that much time on it, but I've managed to make about $77 in the last 3 weeks - which is amazing for an online opportunity. I am certainly excited to continue on with my ChaCha-ing. Unfortunately their minimum payout (for direct deposit) is $150 a month! So I'm trying to make that before the end of the month. Otherwise it'll roll over and I'll have to wait. lol. Wish me good luck!

Yeah, I hate that the payout went up. It used to be $100! I guess we can't complain though because at least they don't charge like they do with the pay me now option. I just wish it were busier on the days that I actually have time to work. I work for another site that posts the jobs I do on Friday and so I normally don't have time for ChaCha then, and its ALWAYS busiest on the weekend...lol

What was the point of responding then? No need to be rude.

I've been working with ChaCha since 2007 but I stopped for awhile up until today. I signed back in but everything appears so different than it use to that I'm having to learn it all over again. I can tell you however that they do indeed pay! And depending on how much time you have to invest in it, you can make a fairly decent amount of money doing it. Best of luck!

How are you liking it so far after being away? What's your name there?

I don't know anything about Cha-Cha now but you made me remember my last experience about this type of dance during my college days where it's a required presentation for our PE class. My instructor was good at Cha-Cha and she says that the school is paying her a good amount of salary for just teaching the dance.

I've been an independent contractor with ChaCha.com for about 2 or 3 years now. A lot has changed on the site since I first started. The pay scale has decreased a bit and usage limits were put into place for a while there. In the beginning it was 20 cents per question answered. Now, depending on your role and which questions you answer, it's anywhere from 2 cents - 20 cents a question. On average for someone like a generalist or specialist, they can make roughly 12 - 15 cents a question. Expeditors may 2 cents for every question they answer. I've been and expeditor now for quite some time and on a good hour I can make about $3 All the ChaCha roles have their positives and negatives, it really just depends on what you like to do. Transcribe questions that people call in, succinct questions and send them to a guide or use the finders for an answer, or be a generalist/specialist and actually search the internet to find an appropriate answer to send on to the customer. I highly recommend ChaCha for anyone who wants to legitimately make some extra money.

Yeah I'm an Expeditor and I like it so far. I've been with them since May 4 so I'm still learning the ropes a little. I know it's nothing to quit a full-time job over, but you can make pretty decent if you work at it enough.
