Car crash---Another money-for-life judgment.

another car crash reported on TV: a driver knocked down a newly-married couple with a BMW and ran away. the husband died and the wife seriously wounded. BUT---the driver was sentenced 3 years in prison becoz he paid the couple's family two million yuan and thus was FORGIVEN by the relatives. I just feel sad for the couple, especially for the husband whose parents and relatives should have seek the justice and revenge for him but they only use his life for the money.
