The most overworked person, but the most underpaid. There is no overtime pay, there is no social security for being one, there is no night differentials, and sometimes less appreciated for all the hard work. And why she does this? Because of her love for us (her children). Happy mother's day, for all the mothers..

because being a mom is not a job, its a calling. its reward is far greater than any material wealth. its security is the bright future of her children and the appreciation will surely come in time when her kids will be successful in life. A mother's love is so universal and proof that this is the true essence of being a women, to be mother to her children,. happy mother's day to all..

I agree but still it is work. The thing is after all her hard work, sometimes she don't get the appreciation she deserves. Anyway, as you have said the reward for her is greater than material wealth..

yes, being a mother is the hardest job. a mother has a big responsibility. many children and sometimes her husband, did not appreciate the mother or wife to do. working mothers do not get the reward money, but the working mother out of love and hope to have that reward in love with him. I am a mother, and I really love my child. even though my husband did not care, I will always be a good mother for my kids.

hi jaymar777 yes only a mother would give her adult son who is out of work money and on mother's day too but he is still my boy and will be til the day I die. why because I love him, he is still my baby even at fifty and when he hurts I hurt too, i know what this awful joblessness is doing to him although he stays cheerful and pretends it doesn't really bother him. He is in an apartment sponsored by the government with three other men all out of work too. oh I wish our new president would start helping on the job front here at home and forget for awhile all the other countries all wanting a hand out, why not start at home first.

well, what you said is true in a way. we're never monetarily paid but to those lucky mothers who had successful children i guess that legacy that we were the mother of these children is a whole lot of payment for just naturally loving them.

Hello, thanks for your wish; I'm a mother and I would like to tell you that you are extremely right. A responsible mother always prioritized her children. We are the most overworked person indeed and sometimes our husbands demanded more of our time, especially here is Asia where women are treated as inferior to their husbands and must submit to all their husbands vices. I hope our culture will change and the male genres will realize that we women are also humans.
