being a carnal christian..

yesterday, out of my absence at the church, i only listened to a sermon in the youtube which entitled "A sermon that shocked the youth". in my mind, i have the inclination that the title was liked that because the powerful preacher there is. and so, no matter how long it was (58 minutes) i did listen while working.
then, while i was working, i really did hear the voice and the message that he was conveying. then there it was, he began to get mad and with a loud voice, he stresses some things that really strike me, being a CARNAL CHRISTIAN. he defines it as someone who has prayed the prayer of repentance, become a christian, then just do nothing. following the ways and the wiles of the enemies. the fashion, the outfit, the movies, the music, and the activities. all of those that the world is doing, is the same as the carnal christian. and as for me, it was a strike and true to me. and i think, there must be some and a lot of reforms in my life. how about you?

Hi Jing,
I admit I'm one of those carnal christian the preacher is telling about. There's a moment in my life that I almost turn away myself from God. I have been carnal for many years now. I am a sinner and I admit it. I prayed to God but didnt do what God told me to do. You know we are sinners. We all are. YOu know, we have moments of our lives that we want to try sin. Thats part of what God has given us, the free will. But always remember that this free will comes a punishment. But of course I am not hoping that this carnal mind, carnal body that I have right now will continue to ruin my inmost being. I know God is there. At this point, i realized that I became carnal all my life. So i think its time to turn our eyes to God. Its time to stand and said that we are His children and that we need to follow His ways. Follow his commandments.
