i know that we all want to stay or have our job though sometimes we really cant help it if we get bored to it and sometimes we hate it due to our boss, co workers or even the task we had at work. sometimes we feel like we wanted to resigned and look for another job without realizing that its still the same things happened as job is only good while your still new and you become bored to it once you work for it over and over again, everyday and for many years, so what do you think is the best things to do when we hate our job.

First, you should know what makes you hate your job. It is just the workload? Are you just stressed and you need some time off? Is it the people around you? Or something else? Second, once you know what makes you hate your job, then you should come up with ways on how to resolve your issues. For example, I hated my job because it became so easy that I'm really getting bored about it. I talked to my boss and he gave me some other tasks that I will find challenging. In that way, I became more interested because it will be a new learning for me. Later on, I realized that I don't like my job because of the night schedule. I had worked four years of nightshifts all my life and I realized that it's not good for my health. I talked to my boss and we agreed that since I can't go on dayshift all the time since we're working with clients on the opposite side of the world, I could go on rotating shift. I go on mid for a month, alternate with nightshift on a monthly basis. Third, if nothing still works and no alternatives can be taken, look for other opportunities. But make sure that the one you'll take to replace your current job would be the exact one you're looking for. Otherwise, leaving your current company will be useless.

Hello Home, I understand how you feel. The higher your position, the more challenges you encounter, the more eyes are watching your every move, the more people may talk behind your back and the more will envy you. However, I guess it's a part of it. You can't make all people like you. Just to your job, do the right thing, know who your friends are but try not to antagonize with anyone. Never burn bridges and always try not say bad about anyone. If you think you can't take the culture and the types of people surrounding you, then you decide if you're really willing to go. Hello Mac. I know what you're talking about. I know some of my friends who don't like their jobs anymore but they are obliged to stick to it primarily for financial reasons. Some have a family they support, some needs financial assistance for medications, some are breadwinners. This is a situation when they really have to set aside how they feel and prioritize what is necessary for the meantime. As for your case, I suggest you just take it slow. I know it's a very, very stressful job but have you ever looked if there are other similar opportunities that may give you better salary or other favorable arrangements? I think it won't hurt if you give it a try.

Hi,Honey Usually we have to face more complicated dilemma in reality.Sometimes u have no chioce though u clear the situation u are in and figure out some solutions,u have to stay still along for a centain time. Now I'm working for a company with poor salary and welfare,I also have great burden from work, all of that makes me depressed almost everyday. What's worse,I get no chance to fight back,I have to roll along with this situation.Just for the woking experience , rich enough to change my job, the one I wanna do and with a higher payment,so the only thing for me is waiting and take the burden and every tasks I encounter as the assets I gonna to have...

I don't see anything wrong with staying at the job you're at and also looking for other employment at the same time. I would keep my primary job until I found something more enjoyable and have full time or equivalent shifts you are working now. Take care

Yes that's true and it's like that here in my country too. But in the meantime you could look and find something that satisfies you and until you get better wages and full time then stay with your primary job.

yes your right, i guess its better to find way on how to start loving your job than try to find new one or request to transfer to other department or branch or position if theres any available than to start again with lower salary, specially here in my country, if your beginners they tend to give low salary and theres still no guarantee if you become regularize or not as normally they only hired for 3 to 5 months minimum and if you have good records then perhaps they can process your regularization or give you another few months to stay with the company.

It depends to what extent a person can hate his or her job. Sometimes there are unpleasant tasks within an otherwise enjoyable job and at other times we may just be having a span of bad days. If it becomes more than that, I think it’s worth looking at the situation and planning to look for another job because life is way too short to spend it in an occupation that makes you feel sad. I used to go to a job years ago that I hated so much…I would sit in a café every morning and cry into my coffee before catching a bus to work! It was not a good existence..

thats what i used to do before, after a year i submit my resignation as i feel bored or hate it already, first is the kind of job, since i work as an accountant before where we stay there from morning up to evening to finished our work, i become so tired and that even though my position is quite higher i still try to find another job hoping of finding one that can give me contentment but still the same, its good only for few months but become tired and bored again after a year.

I, myself, want to look for another job. It's because I don't have any love for my job from the start. I just had no choice then because there was nothing else to choose. Every time that I get my paycheck, I just don't feel the excitement and fulfillment because I know that I'm not doing my best in this job and that I'm not worthy of it. I want to have a job wherein I'd be able to feel growth in my skills, knowledge and talent and there's fulfillment. I hope I'll find that within this year.

If the prime reason is because you don't like your boss, it is better to resign and look for another good job. Your day is like a hell when seeing your toxic boss. It happen to some time ago that I was supposed to love that job because to support my needs. But I need to gave it up because a lady boss that seems doesn't like me. I feel like she was a fault finder that she kept on watching me to fail in something. I thought of my self that what was the use of staying in that company with an arrogant boss. Imagine! even when we were in the same elevator she will gave a cold shoulder if I threw a smile to her. I was hurt then. The next time we were in the same elevator I tried to disregard and ignore her presence as if I did not see her. You know what she did,she clamor to my colleagues that I was a rude and ungracious. I did not bother to say sorry since I knew her motives until the more I ignore her the more she hates. I said to myself, so what if she was my boss, being an employee is our common denominator. I would go whatever it took me here. Eventually I did resign because I hate her more everyday.

yes your right, if the problem is your boss or co employee then better to resigned as theres no way for you to be peaceful with your job no matter how you like it as your boss can do whatever they want to you so why wait before they will fired you then better resigned to have a good record coz im sure your boss will going to do something to kick you out. so far i have no problem with my boss though i had problem with my co employee as they keep on irritating me which of course no longer healthy in my part.

I had a temporary summer job working in a hotel, It involved long hours, heavy work and little pay. I used to grumble and complain but a middle aged woman full of wisdom once told me. Ok you have every right to grumble and protest about little wage. But do keep in your mind that you are getting paid at the end of the month. I did keep that in mind and used to bite my lip instead of grumbling. Eventually I continued to study, enter university and have a better job with higher earnings.

Well, I don't hate my job but I don't like it either. I don't know why I were in this industry. I'm a counselor for studying abroad in a small company. Works here is very simple and I feel very free because sometimes I don't have anything to do and just sit in front of the computer and browse websites. Sometimes I feel it's very boring and annoyed while sometimes I think it's quiet good because I don't have to use my head. I want to change my job but it's not that easy because I think which industry is suitable for me. I want to try different industries actually but before I get another better offer, I won't leave.

I read from a management column that when you are in an entry job or new in a particular job, you need to be a good follower because it your superiors who would see and direct you to your career development. You can just imagine if you are being the boss when you are not. I understand that it is difficult being bossed around, being the center of scrutiny especially when you are new. Your higher ups have great expectations from you because the company has hired you because logically, they needed your talents to contribute to productivity and of course increase profit in the company. When you are in the same position for many years and you feel like your bored. I think there you have to assess yourself, ask your manager about your assessment/maybe you can review your appraisal... there you can have the idea on where was you bad at or good at. Maybe you needed variety. Maybe you needed a little push. If you have meetings and the boss asks for suggestions, maybe it's time for you to suggest something new and explorable ways to bring something fresh to an idea. I can't imagine how people last and still functions to the job they don't like. It must have been a very stressful one but I guess they just see to it that the job is done on the right time and they get high compensation from it.

Obviously, it's better to quit if you don't like your job. But if you can't quit because of some important reasons.. financial probs to be exact, then you just have to adjust with your surroundings. Make your workplace more "you", look for relaxation techniques to manage stress during work hours, think of your SALARY lol! you can also make an after work relaxation time like dining out with your loved ones so you'll just have to look forward getting your work done faster so you can be with your family to enjoy the rest of the day. If you have nasty workmates, deal with them or "if you can't beat them, join them". Just DON'T like one them that you'll forget who you really are. you've got to stick to your principles.

Simple if you are not happy anymore with the job you have then quite (resign). But think of what will happen it you don't have a job. Where will you get money for your basic needs? I have been through with it. I worked for more than 5years and it come to the point that i was bored with the work i have everyday. Everyday's routine is not anymore challenging for i know already, then I resign. Now, I'm jobless for more than a year. I still can't find a work. Its not that easy to find a job but its easy to resign. So, think of my situation right now. All i can say is that "be patient". Love your work as you love yourself.

If i don't my job, it is a time for me to say goodbye with the company already. I believe the most important motive for us to work on a job is happy. If i hate the job or company, no point for me to stay. Why not try to change a job. There are always opportunity. Anyway, just my point of view. Happy mylotting.

Adjusting with it unless you land up in a new job is the only option.Job satisfaction is actually a myth, Who would be completely satisfied with one"s vocation?

One best thing to do when you hate your job is to find a different job. You should start looking for job when you start hating the job. This will keep your confidence level up when you attend interviews because you already have a job in hand and you are looking for a job change. Once you feel like you totally hate the job, you will be pissed off and it affects your interest and confidence in finding a new job.
