Scotland has done it again on Britain's Got Talent. We remember Susan Boyle from a wee village in Scotland who became an overnight sensation last year on the talent show. I was really amazed at 80 year old Janey Cutler from Glasgow (my hometown) Scotland. She sang "No Regrets" which I had never heard in English although I adored the song when sung in French by Edith Piaf (Non, Je ne regrette rien). What a set of pipe that snazzy old lady has! I thought eighty year olds were supposed to have soft quavery voices. Let me know what you think of this oldster?

Wasn't she amazing!!!
She looked so frail and old before she started singing and I thought we were in for a horror of a performance.
I think that they must be putting something into those scotch pies, Iron Bru and battered Mars's bars !!!
I don't know if Britain's got talent but Scotland certainly has!!!!

I am so glad you find her just as amazing as I did. I also thought she looked pretty glamorous by be for going to the pub and clubs she mentioned. Simon also seemed to really get a kick out of her performance.
OMG I have not thought about Irn Bru in many years so you are probably right it must be in the pies or even my favourite black puddin' for the people who are not aware of irn bru....

I just saw her on Inside Edition. She is fantastic. I wonder how much she sings. I suspect that the extra oxygenation from that kind of a voice makes her healthy all over. I wish her all the best. Would love to be able to do that when I reach 80.

What a lovely voice! Too bad she has no chance of actually winning, only young and pretty people seem to win any contest these days. I'm glad that she had a chance to try, though.
