We were a little bit disappointed

Over the weekend, we went on a little mini-vacation. One of the things we had planned was a wine tasting at a winery we had visited before. This tasting was for their "Reserve" wines and we had been looking forward to it for months. We did learn a lot more about wines, which was cool. But, the wines were a bit on the weak side for being their "Reserve" wines. We had been told on our previous visit that if you take the Reserve tour you need to make sure you have a hearty meal beforehand because you're going to go through a couple bottles of wine. We barely got a sip of each wine - 9 different wines. It was very disappointing, although the rest of the events were pretty cool! What event were you looking forward to that ended up disappointing you?

For me it is not so much an event, as it is a restaurant, most often. I do not go to too many events, other than those with family and there is always something good to be said for getting together with family and friends.

Oh yes, friends and family sure can make a difference! We had gone by ourselves and although the other people on the tour were pretty cool, we still weren't impressed.

That's a shame that you weren't able to hang out with them that day. Hopefully you can set another time to get together.
