Foolish things that we usually do as kids

Have you ever cut your own hair when you're still a kid? Me, I did cut my hair. That was very embarrassing and my mom was very angry at that moment. Have you also tried singing in front of an electric fan? I really enjoyed doing that especially when no one's looking around. Also, when I was a kid, I always draw pictures or write names on a dusty car. I also bit the metal tip of my pencil just to get the eraser. I also got a hobby of peeping inside a refrigerator to see if the light goes off whenever I close it. I have one thing to ask: have you ever did all those things when you're still a child?

I did all of those foolish things when i was a kid too. But the only thing i did that i'm still grossed out about was when i used to pick boogers from my nose and err.. tasted it LOL!!! yes, i ate one of those icky dirty stuff that get stuck in our noses. But hey at least i didn't tasted other people's boogers. I only ate my OWN LOL!!! Not that i'm proud of doing it when i was a kid but still i think i'm a normal kid back then. Surely lots of kids have done that even if just once. :D

Bahahahaha, your comment reminded me of that teenage girl in Tyra Bank's talk show who still has that disgusting habit until now. She even classified her boogers as hard, slimy, and in-between LOL. Her favorite were the in-between ones. LOL gross.

OMG! your discussion made me laugh out loud. Hahahahaha. While reading every sentence, I get flashbacks from where I was a kid and I was doing all those things. LOL. I also liked writing on the wall, and everywhere I could write actually. Hahahha. I remember my Dad getting so mad because I wrote a name of a friend in their dresser. Hahahaha. I think the name is still there until now.

Ahhh. I remember Fido Dido, I used to have shirts with him in front. Hehehe. I should have used chalk, but I was really hard headed and I use pentel pen whenever I write on our walls.

hahahahaha! Me too, I like to write on the walls of our house using a chalk. I'd also draw funny pictures if Fido Dido (you know him?) and other cartoon characters on TV. Good thing it was chalk, which could be erased easily. Thanks for our response..

I once cut my own hair. It looked really awful, and my mother also got angry when she saw it. She took me to the hairdresser and the hairdresser asked me: "Did you cut your own hair?" I lied and said: "No, my mom did it" but I don't think that that she believed me I also did some other things foolish things. One time I was bored while my parents were sleeping. I had just learned to use a pair of scissors, so I thought that it could be fun to cut out the pages of some of my parents books. When my mother discovered what I had done she didn't find it funny at all!

This is the hair - shaved
I've also cut my hair and I didn't get embarrassed but my mother got totally mad. LOL. Then I saw rock stars on t.v. whose hairs are shaved on the sides and the only hairs left was the ones at the middle. I can't remember what it's called but I cut my barbies that way so my mother would totally run after me. Whew Rage. Haha. Anyway, I also like soaking my stuff toys in a pail of water then I'll throw it on our floor. Then I'll let my self slip through the floors.

The only thing I remember is when my mother was cleaning her nails. There was this metal nail thingy and I got it from her and I put it inside the socket. There it is! I got grounded. It's a good thing that I'm still here now. =)

Hey , last year when I was 15 , I tried to cut my own hair because the teacher told me I had to get a haircut or I'll get a detention. Yea...Didn't work out so well. Before I cut my own hair , I had a nice fringe but after cutting for 30secs , it looked like I had a bowl cut . Gawd , I got so many weird looks during school that day. Hmmm another foolish thing..I once slammed the door so hard that it broke through the plaster of the wall :/ Oh and when I was like 5 years old , I jumped off the see-saw when I was in the air and scraped the skin off my chest. I have done most of the stupid things you've told us. Not the "looking in the fridge" one though :) Now that is weird Lmao.

those amazing things which you had done are truely much more than me.but such as singing in front of an electric fan, cutting my hair, bitting the metal tip of the pencil, yes,i am the same with you in this aspect.i like to play the hide-and-seek with myself in an empty wardrobe.sometimes i lit the candle in the empty wardrobe in order that i could do some reading as soon as the darkness.once i made a careless mistake that the wardrobe caught fire.of course my mom was very angry.but i still think we should be alive like a kid.

All of the above definitely! I was a real moron as a kid and sad to say I still am now. In a good way I'd like to think so. Lol! I locked myself inside the bathroom and even put glue all over my mom's clothes. Oh we laughed! (No we didn't I really got grilled that night.) +!

Mine was a very adventurous one. I'd lead my friends to a bushy place then we saw this weed with a fruit that looks like a very tiny apple that is enclosed in a pear shaped thingy that's like a leaf. hahaha. We just named that weed tujobtujob. Until now, I don't know what's the name of that weed. We'd eat the fruit and it tasted okay. Can't even search it in the net. We'd also ate/sip the nectar of santan flower. And we are still alive after 30 years! Poor bees, they had competitors then. I also cut my hair myself and that of my siblings. We'd have that fashion show on an boat that was turned upside-down for repair. I'd sing in front of the electric fan. When we're swimming, I'd call my friends and swim towards the fishing boats and have those as our diving boards. When we're yelled by the fishermen left at the boat, we'd swim outrightly away from the boat. When my mom would prepare the bottle of milk for our youngest, I'd volunteer myself to stay with our baby. Signal my siblings who'd follow me right away and we'd drink our baby's milk so that it's not only me who'll get scolded by our mother. These are just few of my adventurous and exciting childhood days. As I look back, I can just imagine how hyper I was and how naughty I was. It makes me laugh out loud.

Good thing you didn't get poisoned by that fruit, and yeah, I also like to sip the santan flower's nectar, until now, if ever i get to see a santan bush.

i remember one! i have this aching tooth that's almost falling off. a kid told me to do this: tie a string around my tooth, tie the other end around a door knob. open the door, then shut it really fast. tooth will fall off. i did this and i must have been traumatized by it because i honestly dont remember whether extracting my tooth was successful or not!

All of the above... As a child we were such a curious creature that we wanted to explore and discover things. I have some additional experience to share. As a child, I always played the switch wondering why it turned on and off. There was a time that we played and swim in a big canal when the rains poured down. It was a clean and dry canal but when it rained its look like a river flowing. One of the most unforgettable foolish thing I have ever done when I ironed my favorite silky dress with a very hot iron and it shrinked. I tried to hide it but my mother found it eventually. So many foolishness I did before. I believe it is out of curiousity and with curiousity we developed things to master. As an adult, I can say today that a child is full of foolishness in his heart, that is why they need a proper guidance of an adult. Though our common reaction is fear and dispproval, we tend to be over protective because we learned from our past. If learning start from home, likewise the foolishness of a child.

Yes, I agree with you, as a child we learn a lot of different things out of curiosity. Thank God, children are so easy to forgive..hehe. Thanks for your response!

The most foolish thing when I was still a child is eating my sisters' lipstick. Its yummy because its a strawberry flavor. Then after wards I vomited with a lipstick puke, yuck,, lol. My sister got angry at me or maybe she is embarrassed that her lipstick is not yummy as what I thought. Well those were the good old days when i was 6 years old.

Indeed I did, some of the funny unexplainable things as a kid. I had a Nintendo game and watch device which I loved to play very much and I brought it into the bath room. I placed the device on a tub of water, thinking that it is waterproof and I could play after my bath. However obviously it was fried and short-circuited. Next I loved to unscrew anything I find with a screwdriver, and of course I did not know how to put things back in order. I like drawing but the only thing I drew was cars, cars and more cars as I was too fascinated by it then. The childhood days were indeed an enjoyable but the things I did were quite foolish.
