I ran a round the town today

It was up to me, my turn to run around. We are trying to save gas here and who ever has to go into town gets to run around for everyone else. I don't mind to much, it's pretty much the extent of my social life. I took the eggs to the local farmer's market, every one was very happy to see me. I hit the gas station to gas the car and pick up fuel for the tracter, the young man who helped me was wonderful
I can't lift that heavy gas tank out of the car, much less load it back in when it's full. I was able to tip him. Then it was on to the market, (Walmart) I found almost everything on my list and got to chat with the checker who is recovering from heart surgury, she had a little time to chat which was nice. Last but not least I delivered our voting ballots to the city hall. Then home and what a nice way to spend a Monday morning. I hope everyone enjoyed a few smiles on their Monday

Sounds like you had a lovely morning. Good for you to be able to get help with the tank and chat with the checkout girl.
My morning was as usual, up at noon, had breakfast, washed, then sat at the pc to work and here I am now for the next 6 hrs. At least I can look out the patio door and have a lovely view of hubby cleaning up the pool so it can be started.

You certainly had a busy morning!! Mine was not so busy. I am washing my bedsheets and clothing today, finished 3 articles, vacuumed the rugs and later I will do dishes. That's about as busy as I get these days. I don't need to go to the store or anything and I'm glad--it's very dark, dreary and rainy today, a good day to stay home and catch up on stuff.

I do not understand why this is tagged mature content. I think your family plan of one person doing all of the running around is really practical. I am away from home, actually, and today was my youngest granddaughter's birthday. It has been a full day and it is time to go to bed.

Sounds like a nice morning. It’s Tuesday here now. I spent most of my Monday running around too from store to store but I did meet my friend for lunch which was nice, we had lovely coffee and muffins and talked for two hours; it’s our fortnightly treat. Today was not so good, our house alarm is broken; it went off and I couldn’t turn the infernal noise off so now it will cost money we don’t have to have it repaired. I also lost my keys and, after turning the house upside down I found them…In the rubbish bin! Ah…These things are sent to test us...*sigh*...
