There is a few reason's why I stay away from politics and this interest! The first reason is There are so opinionated people when it concern politics! They refuse to have an open mind and never waver! It is crazy! Then there are the people who won't take no for any answer! Like a year ago I stopped coming to this interest because one person would not take no for an anwer! A Mylot friend suggested a topic I might be interested in to reply too. It was politics and this person just couldn't take no for an anwer on their discussion! If got so bad I deleted the friend and never went back on there! I hate when people don't want to listen to my opinion! One more thing I hate is the most dumb,crazy and unreal conspiracy theory's out there! All about the President and all not true! So you can see why I avoid this interest!

I know I have a right to my opinion it just pisses me off I am around people who are so opinionated! Especially around politics! Especially the ones who won't would let you get way with what you just said! That really eerks me when people don't take no for an answer! at least people on Mylot are listening!

Usually people put controversial comments and responses in discussions on religion, politics; but every body is free to tell what he or she feels..nothing to be worried..

I feel better since I have voiced my opinion on politics and some other topics. I need to just let things ride and I am trying to do that! I know some people at my job who won't budge on politics! Those people I do try and stay away from them when politics arises!

Blue65, I am surprised that you are not yet comfortable with the fact you, like everyone else, you are entitled to your opinion. So, just contribute what you think you need to contribute to any discussion: There are just some folks who assume their opinion ought to be universal (and yet reasonable folks know that this is not an accurate assumption).

Good point you brought up! It takes along time to get used to situation before I can talk about this,like politics and feel comfortable. It doesn't help I struggle with self confidence! if you meet some of the people I know who are so opinionated on politics you could understand why I hate talking politics! I know I have the freedom to speack out. Maybe someday when I am more comfortable I will! Until then I will continue to work on myself!
