Are you a person that is forever wanting to learn something new? Are you a student? Life time or otherwise? What process do you go through to learn? Research online? School? Networking? All of the above? What are your favorite subjects to learn more about? For me it is writing and Egyptology.

I learn everyday and with everybody. I like to learn. I always say that I know many things but not everything so I am here to learn and teach me I will be a good student. I am a student now but I know I will forever stay one. I like to learn from everyone from teachers to sages, from five years old to sixty years old and from known to unknown.

Hello ms celticeagle, I'm that kind of person, but for all the learning method we had today,I still can't change the fact that I always want to enroll in an actual way of learning, with actual way of teaching, entering a school still the best way for me,sometimes I get source from the internet to have a bit knowledge or idea about something but as of now I have my full time job offline I'm attending part time course and programs.I'm very fond of business studies, self improvements and writing skills. Have a nice day ahead!

Yes I am a learner. Since I am an educator then I need to learn a lot of things. I love to read things and do some research. I also love to talk to people who are involve in something that I am trying to study.

I share your interest in Egyptology though I don't study it as such, I love scratching the surface of new things and enjoy coming across info that challenges my beliefs and thought processes. There are so many new things I would love to learn, I'm thinking about taking a Spanish course at our local night school once we get a bit more settled, I love languages though am not very confident about speaking them lol. I think it's tremendously important to be open to learning new things and have a flexible attitude to the situations we find ourselves in everyday. I don't mean changing your core beliefs and values because they are the rock that creates inner strength and stability, just being open to developing them further and maybe changing our approach to applying them as we learn more about the world around us.

Some of the people that I know consider me a person that can learn everything that can be teached, and I thought that was truth, because I have like self-rule: I have to learn at least one thing everyday. I want to learn about everything that can be possible: the life, school subjects or even practical things, as change a wheel to my car or repair a computer. My favorite subjects are Math and Physics (yes, I´m not crazy).

You described me to the tee. If there was such a thing as a professional student that's the career I would've went that route without question. I love education! I love the idea of learning something new. My daughters think Im crazy. ALthough my oldest had to leave school due to her health. She now id pursuing a ged and then going to college. Im thrilled! My youngest daughter hates school one day then loves it next. Im amazed at her because as much as she despises school she still has college in her life plan. As far as myself is concerned I like math the best. History and English are bad either. I like to be able to read a passage and give my take on it. I love the whole idea of school. Yes I am definitely a learner. dl

Cool. Kids don't know until it is too late sometimes about what is good for them. Math? I was never good at it but I can see how would fascinate some folks.

at my age and status in life, i know i can't go back to school and learn more knowledge. i just leave the schooling with my kids. but i really don't stop learning. if there are seminars and workshops related to my job, i let my chief know about it so i can also ask permission to attend. and of course, there is the internet.

Yeah, I think I'm that person. I guess it is natural for men to be always have that want to learn because of his rational thinking. Also, wanting to learn has something to do with the way he survives, it could also be a result of his reaction to the fast changing environment. As a student, I have a lot of questions... as I dig deeper to such questions, more ideas propel and become part of your knowledge as you find answers. Whenever you get answers, you also gauge that answer and then depending on how scholarly you are, you would even delve into serious research. I think with my profession, it is also part of my professional growth to have that commitment of lifetime learning. There are many theories of learning involved, I guess it is experience, which is as they say, "the most painful" will lead you to wisdom. My favorite subject is general information... that's why I'm here in mylot.

Rational and logical. Getting those questions answered early in life is important. And even fulfilling. General information here is haphazard at best. Hehehe

I live to learn new things. Although the classes I have been taking has been quite the challenge with my work schedule..I actually enjoy them very much. I think that I would like to learn more about psychology. I have always wanted to take classes on the mind. I have a couple of those classes coming up but they are a while away. I am very excited about them. Composition was my last two classes and I had a lot of fun with it and learned a lot. I had no idea how little I actually knew..lol.

I have always found psychology fascinating. Being a Scorpio I think I have a natural nack for it. It is very interesting. Are you going to continue college or are you just reaching for a certain degree?

At this point I am focused on a bachelors degree in organizational management with a focus on human resources. I want a master's degree but I figure I better keep my eye on the ball. I may actually even decide to change my degree because at this point I am taking the same courses as an educator. Some of the people in my classes are going for a bachelors in education. I don't know where I will end up with this because of my great love of learning.

I guess you would say I'm a learner. I like to read things online a lot. I also like to read the encyclopedias a lot. The encyclopedias are not very up-to-date and if I want up-to-date information, I prefer to go online. For example, I'm very much interested in Indain folklore. All the encyclopedias talk about is their past. I know their past is very important but I like to know more about what they are up to these days. I bet Egyptology is very interesting.

People typically learn from everything. Just what they see and what they do. We learn from what we hear, what we think, and how we react to the environment. Of course, at school, my favourite subjects are english and history and mythology. I also love medical studies and plan to go to medical school.

Yes, IF they pay attention! Some are in pain and have issues and therefore are not as able to absorb as some others are. I enjoy history and mythology also. Am very interested in medicine. Herbals mostly.
