Cilantro....Love it or hate it?

I have heard so many wonderful health benefits of cilantro that I thought it might be a nice addition to my diet. I was quite surprised by my strong dislike for the flavor. I was equally surprised to learn that some people really like (love) it. I cannot imagine that. I have been online searching for ways to make it more palatable for me and I found that for the most part, the flavor opinion on this herb is very polarized.....people either hate it or love it, not much in between. I am curious to know what is your position? Also have you switched sides at all (hated it first now love it or vice versa).

hi lumenmom Lol no wonder you hate it. I too don't like its flavor and think no body will eat cilantro alone as food or vegetable because of its very strong, kind of peculiar flavor, it can be used in small quantity to enhance flavor in items like salsa. Thank you so much. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Coriander - Leaves, seeds and ground coriander
Hi In England we call this Coriander, but I am very fond of it, and have big pots of it growing in my garden. Medically coriander to reduces wind and is also good for increasing the appetite. The seed can be used externally as a poultice and is thought to relieve rheumatism and painful joints. I use the seeds when making curries and I use the leaves in salads, sauces, soups and as a garnish.
