Well, I go with both. I have never thought about which one meant what. But now that you say it I think 'hehe' does mean a silly kind of laugh. I also use other forms of laughs. Like lol, rofl,lmao, roflmao...etc...

For me it all depends on the situation! I think that I use LOL the most. If I really do laugh though - I usually use hahaha - which is weird because LOL stands for laugh out loud, so really I guess I should be using that when I "really laugh out loud." Wow - I think I just confused myself! haha

I like hahaha.. hehehe is just simple showing of a person who laughs or being happy. Hahaha is the upgraded version of hehehe.

Ithink HAHAHAHA is better than that hehehehe. HEHE sounds like girlish , and not the original laugh. But HAHAHAHA sounds like naughty and the original laugh and I just enjoy laughing with this hahaha. Laughter is a part of life, enjoy it by any means.

i use hehe often because its more toned down than haha. well there are also jajaja for spanish sites and jeje in our country for the jejemon trend. i think hehe/ haha expresses your laughter than lol, rofl and such

I also use "hehe" rather than "haha". I think "haha" could sometimes used as a sarcastic laugh that's why I hardly use it.

Hahaha. Funny. I never considered which laughter I use but I guess I tend to stick with hahaha. I think hehehe sounds a little evil like you are laughing at someone or planning something sneaky. Hahaha seems to be more of a funny laughter although in real life I tend to laugh more of a huhuhu. I don't think people would understand it if I type huhuhu though.

Wow, whenever I've been texting and someone sends a text that will make me laugh I've never used either hahahaha or hehehehe. I will typically respond to the funny text with lol if it is just funny and I will respond with ROFL if it is something that I can't quit laughing at. I don't know why I've never responded with either of those that you've used, but the closest reason that I can think of is that I like to type as few letters as possible.

i prefer hahaha.... i have seen an article,it says that hehehe means that you don't think it's funny but you have to show that you're laughing....what's worse,all the friends besides saw this troublesome article and take it seriously.... from then on,i never use hehehe....pity that i have to hide my preference....

I have a tendency to always put jajajaja... the j for us Hispanics is an h sound, so put all together and that is my laugh. I especially type jajajaja, if it is really funny. LOL, and hahaha are just too common for me.
