I just can't take it, it too hot in my country. As part of my job to go outside, I felt the ray of sun almost burning my skin even if I use an umbrella. I don't know where to go anymore, I wish I can stay at office all the time.

Even many of the Asian countries are having about 40 d.c. at various places. As a part of your job, I am sure that you cannto avoid the situation. But, try little time efficient re-arrangement like the dispatching and outside works should be in the morning and evening times and if possible at peak sun time you can be at office and can be at AC environment. Probably it may not work out as per our decisions, still you can talk to your reporting authorities and some arrangements can help a little on this issue. Hope, the monsoons will start soon. Regards, Thank-s

Our office hours is from 8am - 5pm so those whole hours are really hot, I can't make arrangement at morning cause I hold the key to our office, I am the one who open it. I just can't leave like that, provided I have important matters to do. I usually go outside afterlunch, so that's around 1-2pm. Can you imagine going out with that time? Oh super hot.

That's sounds refreshing, I wanted to but I am workaholic that I think about my responsibilities at the office. As much as I wanted to, I also don't want to cut my salary, this is my bread and butter.

I see, your Indonesian. Do you know Christian Baustista? A Filipino Balladeer who went to perform there and other Asian countries? I think Indonesia and Philippines share the same climate since Indonesia is our neighbors.

i actually think of not going out of our bathroom after bathing cause it's the coolest part of our house...what irritates me the most is many times, my sweat feels sticky to my skin! yes, we really have to restore our nature and plant tress or at least grow some plants at home to have fresher air. we have indoor plants at home and some are at the yard. my mom breaths in front of our plants sometimes to have fresh oxygen coming directly out of the plants..

I noticed it too. After taking a bath, while drying my body with a towel sweat is also coming out and continuously while wearing my clothes until I go out for work. It is irritating. I feel like going to the shower again and again. We really have to do something for our mother earth so that everything will go back to its normal condition again

Wow! you might really have a hard time making your work be done despite the heat. O well, I recently did went out our house around 12noon and it was really freaking' hot even with an umbrella being used. the hot air will definitely make you all wet with sweat. and I hate that kind of feeling. I wonder what's your work? Guess it's really a hard one.

Very much, to think that I am commuting only with a thing I carry. I am an administrative assistant but because we are only 3 employee and we don't have an errand boy, I do the job to pick up, deliver and purchase items. I'm also like Liason Officer cause I went to BIR and SSS for taxes, payment. I hate sweating, I smell like a dog and a burning skin.

Rain or shine, its our way of life here, whether we like it or not. But hey, come to think of it, rain or shine, we are still here, complaining of hot weather during summer and complaining of flood water during the rainy season, and still, we love our own Philippines. So what we can do is use our dear old umbrella come rain, come shine.

It seems that we always have too much of everything, too much of heat and too much of water. Are we one of the unluckiest country? Can't imagine how much more if you are in the dessert.

es, I so agree with you dear! I am expecting that the later part of this month, (should be at the beginning of this week, since we're at the 3rd week of May already) heat would come down a bit. But I was wrong, I think it got terrible. I transition to morning shift, so I go to work during the day, and sleep at night. Because if I do the other way around, I think I am not going to get the sleep that I want. I don't like to go to work like a zombie. Now I am here at home, our sofa is warm when you sit down on it, I can feel the heat of the walls clinging to my body, I get thirsty easily. God, I am praying, for the weather to be alright soon.

I thank god we experience a bit of rain yesterday (sunday) even for a short period of time. The heat had stop for a short time but after the rain, Oh my gosh the heat temperature attacked again. I can't bear it that is why I was my body again before going to bed.

i do agree. Though i cannot say i feel your pain, because i stay at the office mostly, but whenever i do go out to do some field work...ooohhh.. Unlike before, where i usually just drive with my windows down, but not anymore. I can't take the heat that even turning on the AC sometimes would not do. Wish it would rain soon.

Even us here in the summer capital of the Philippines we are experiencing unusual heat which we never had before. Our consolation is that despite the heat we can still breathe fresh air. Summer will soon end and let's hope this heat will subside and have our normal weather.

I just got sick because of this very hot weather. Our airconditioning unit here at the office broke down, and it's so hot,we had to use electric fan while the aircons are under repair. I think that this is the worst summer I have ever experience. Could this be because of the global warming thing??
@laniekins (4579)

Maybe your airconditioning unit cannot take the hot temperature anymore. In my past job, our 2 aircon was under repair and we have to use the electric fan. It was so hard to perform our job, papers were flying and we are all sweating.

One of the highest selling products in the Philippines is skin whitening creams. Everyone is afraid of becoming too dark and all long for whiter skin. If you go to Australia you will find all the girls lying outside in the sun trying to make their skin darker. There are tanning studios everywhere and you can now even get a spray tan to make you look darker. In the Philippines white skin is popular while in the west dark skin is popular or at least a good sun tan. Why do you think there are thousands of foreigners married to Philippine ladies, because they like the darker skin. Don't be ashamed of getting darker in the sun because it only makes you more beautiful.

I got your point, black is beautiful but natural tan is different from sunburn or not equal darkness of the skin. It looks uglier instead of beautiful. My face is not proportion with my legs. Yes we are lucky that Caucasian likes tan skin but too bad for me cause I'm gonna marry a Filipino and most of Filipino guys likes whiter skin than tan.

Yeah summer heat is at its peak and our weather forecaster says this may continue until after the 2nd week of June. So I guess we need to brace ourselves for this kind of heatwave we are experiencing. One good thing the weather bureau is reporting that the heat may gradually go down as it nears the month of June. What I hate about these weather is when I am home. I cannot sleep well at night because the heat just stays overnight and keeps our room warm and humid which is just not comfortable anymore. Even the fans that blows full blast doesn't seem to work anymore. The Aircon is not a good way to escape it since that means you have to pay higher electric bill for it.

I hope this hot weather comes out soon, I just can't take it anymore. We have 2 babies at home and they suffer a lot, poor babies. I am also suffering when I'm at the house, I didn't use electric fan at night.

Last year is also hot but this year is really ridiculous. The heat is very tiring, you will sweat a lot when you go out and headache will follow if continuously exposed to the sun even for one hour only maybe because you're starting to dehydrate. Last year we do saturation drive starting at 10am to 3pm but now agents are complaining so we do it in the afternoon at 5pm but it is still hot
