Furry Presidential Gatecrasher

Whatever else you think of Mr. & Mrs. Obama and their Presidential Veggie Garden in the White House, it has an appeal to the furry kind. A little vole got caught in broad daylight gatecrashing the President while the Human held a press conference in the Rose Garden while on its way to the free eats. Judging by its fat, sleek appearance, it had already indulged in several organic goodies.

As long as we share the earth with furry critters we will not be immune from their gate crashing or their endearing appearance. It is a wonderful spring, and everything seems to be producing lots of fruits in my veggie garden, and fruit trees. I wish the same for the Obama garden.

I know for a fact that their crops are BUMPER TO BUMPER. The sweet potatoes have to be carried away in wheelbarrows, and the extras are given to the local food bank.
