Certainly, after college graduation, there lies the test to being the person who you really are. And you just find out that it is already over some five years that has passed already since you graduated. And much worst, it is double the year since high school graduation. Then, you started thinking about who are left in the area where you are in. and who are those who worked in a distant place. And of course, those who are already married, or even not, but is living in or is having kids and children. Well, all of these thoughts and thinking are just some of the few being answered and cleared during our high school get together. It wasn’t really a reunion, for we know for the fact that a lot would not be there. Hmm. But there has been a lot of changes over my high school classmates in a span of time and years. There has been. And along with that, is the maturity of each one of how we view life there is. And even with financial matters. They could give tips and advises and even hints on how to effectively be thrifty and of course in child rearing...sigh...it was really a different emotion seeing them. And hearing them grow old maturely by age and with kids. Hehe.

Whenever I see my old classmates I feel like I am the one who matured the least. Most of them already have families or are planning to make one. It seems like I'm the only one left enjoying being single.

Hi there Jing Bautista! You're right. I was supposed to have graduated from college years ago but I stopped when I was in third year because I got married, then I got pregnant and gave birth. I waited for seven years so that I wouldn't have to be always there to keep an eye on our baby since he's also studying already. I miss my old friends, some college friends and high school friends. Thank God for networking sites like Friendster and Facebook, though I haven't been able to open my account on the former for quite some time now, because I'm still able to keep in touch with them but most of them don't have any account on social networking sites. A lot has changed, most of my classmates already have their own families too.
