I had a great experience with Pro Flowers

It didn't start out so well, though. My sons sent me flowers on Mother's Day and I was thrilled! They'd never voluntarily done anything like that before so you can imagine how I felt. I opened the box and the flowers looked half-dead but I followed the directions and by the next day they had perked up and were blooming. Well, despite following the instructions to the letter, by Wednesday they were in a very sad state. Nothing like the radio hosts were raving about as they plugged this company.
So I emailed Pro Flowers and told them about it. Within 15 minutes I received an email back offering me a replacement order at no charge or a $70+ gift certificate for merchandise from their site. Wow! I chose the replacement and my flowers arrived on Wednesday May 19th--they deliver Tuesday-Sunday.
It is Monday and they are still beautiful. I've never received that level of customer service before and I have to say they really appear to care about their reputation and their customer satisfaction.
Have you had a great experience with company when you thought they would just shrug it off?

I believe that HEB is the largest supermarket in Texas. They even have stores in northern Mexico. A few months ago, they had white meat chicken on sale for $1.00 per pound. I bought a package with several other items, but when I got home, there were no chicken in my sacks of groceries. The next day, I told my neighbor my sad tale, and she insisted that I go back to the store with my cash register receipt proving that I paid for the meat. I told my story to a manager who told me to go get another package of chicken. I went back to the meat department, but the sale had ended the previous day. The price per pound was now $1.49. I selected a package as close to the same size as the one I didn't arrive home with and took it to the manager. She hardly even looked at the package, and didn't flinch when I told her that the price was now half again the price I had paid for the other package. She just said,"That's fine." I say HEB is a fine store.

I've had missing items occasionally, too. Wow, what a great sale on chicken!! The manager was right--I've worked in a grocery store in customer service and know that baggers do make mistakes. Someone in front of or behind you got your chicken! HEB sounds like a great store and I'm glad you're satisfied. Be sure to write the corporate headquarters with your experience! That will help insure that they keep that manager and not change that policy.

I haven't experienced good costumer service. I while back, my cousin was abused in facebook. I contacted the costumer support to report the user who did it and until now the user is still active. For me, this is the worst costumes service ever.

Yeah, you're right. I'm now wondering what's the point of putting a costumer service button there. Lol.

Wow!! This is Great news. I have never heard of them, and in reality do not have anyone I can send flowers too as my Mom is gone. But this is surely some great information and hope you did something nice with the extra Gift Certificate as well.

I got my flowers replaced and they were beautiful. I hear about this company on the radio all the time since I'm a news junky.
This is not a good day for me. This is my first Mother's Day without my mother and I'm just plain tired of living. But I have my boys and they'll be calling today--the economy is so bad that one has been unemployed for some time and the other is stuck in a low-pay job so they won't be sending flowers this year. But I don't care, just hearing their voices is all I need. Still, I'd love to join my mom. Guess I have awhile to wait.

On one of our trips out of town we stopped for a burger on the road. We got off the highway and drove three miles into town, just to get a Sonic Burger. We were literally ignored, in an empty parking lot! Hubby even walked up to the building and was ignored, including by a manager. I came home, got their e mail, e mailed them. Received a call the next morning. I have a post card for a free sandwich of my choice. It really pays to give feedback. We once ate at a local branch of a restaurant chain. I was impressed with the waitress and wrote a comment card. The next time we came in our host recognized us (I do not know how) and told us that our card had gone from corporate back to them and had been read at a group meeting. We received the royal treatment that day. We need to communicate with people both about good and bad service.

I'm very careful to let a company know when I'm pleased with their service, especially restaurant servers--they have such a hard job and yet stay so cheery and helpful!
I'm glad Sonic responded to you. I'll bet that particular branch got a royal chewing out!

We've got 2 Sonic's in the area and they are very new to us. Many of the ladies from work have checked them out since we are nearby and as one lady comented "I'm not going over there til someone comes back here saying they actually got WARM food from there" I guess they have good slushies but nothing positive about the food!

I had a look at their website many times and I felt that they have really good collection of flowers at reasonable rate. But, I never knew that they were really good at customer service. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed the mother's day gift from your sons. That is so nice of your children. I am also looking forward to buy flowers from them in future.

I'm glad you have a favorable view of them and hope my experience sets your mind at ease if you need to use them. Here in the U.S., so many businesses don't care what their customers think as long as they get their money but Pro Flowers really seems to care about customer satisfaction. It's nice. It's how people used to do business here.

I never had this situation with pro flowers because the flowers I ordered for my mom and my girlfriend both times arrived fresh and nice.
I did however try one site and was having some delivery problems and they ordered some fresh flowers as soon as I told them the flowers were not delivery and they helped me figure out a way to make sure they were delivered and they were

I like doing business with companies that truly value my patronage. I don't require that they treat me like a friend or (figuratively) hold my hand but I do want to know that they appreciate my business. I got that with Pro Flowers. I'm glad you had a good experience! It's so important that things go right when we're giving a gift or a surprise.

That is great. I've never ordered flowers for anyone from Pro Flowers. It sounds like they really want to take care of their customers and keep a good reputation. I'm so glad you emailed them and told them about it so they could fix the problem. No company comes to mind that I've dealt with and had a problem where they fixed it so fast and nicely.

I think that because of this economic disaster that companies are trying to hold onto every customer they can--they are reverting to the customer care that was part of the older days. As I've said before, my first loyalty is to businesses within my community but if I need speed and convenience I'll gladly order from Pro Flowers!

I actually prefer to deal with locals in order to support that particular economy but Pro Flowers is one I would not hesitate to use if I was in a hurry or too upset to spend the time to deal with a local florist. It's nice to find a company truly interested in customer satisfaction.

that's fantastic that your boys remembered you on your special day. My daughters made me origami flowers with poems on the inside, and painted for me... something any mother would love just because it's handmade and from the heart... Flowers are nice but sometimes it's nice to get something out of tradition for a change, something handmade... but of course, it's always the thought that counts, after all, our kids do come from us and we would do the same for them if there was a kids day... Thanks God there's not, everyday is Kds Day in my household!

I've always wondered why there was not a holiday to honor children. Think of how much they give us without even trying--ambition, a drive to improve, love, sweetness, a good start to our day just looking at their dear faces. My children are what makes my life worthwhile. Even though they are grown and we are nearly two thousand miles apart, they make me smile every day just remembering the joy they gave me every day of their lives.
