I prefer baking though I haven't tried it but I think this will interest me more than cooking which I really hate.

I get bored waiting for it to cook, I don't like trying to make the food delicious for the benefit of the people who will eat it. I just don't like to spend the time to cook.

both are easy when you do with passion and joy.but honestly for me, even if baking is more easy to prepare the stuff but it is quite difficult to get the best result and definite taste.a slight mistake will lead to bad result as you can do nothing when its already in the oven while when you cook you still can adjust them while cooking.

Hi there Ms. Pitot!
I think baking is more difficult than cooking. Because when you're cooking, you have what you're cooking in a stove in front of you and you can taste what you're cooking from time to time and make necessary adjustments to improve its taste unlike baking when you mix the ingredients and you'll just have to wait until it's done since you can't just open the oven once what you're baking is already there. I think in baking, you have to be really accurate with time and measurements.

i agree. in cooking you can adjust everything but in baking you can't just change the ingredients. another thing is that in baking, you can't say that you are successful unless it's done already unlike in cooking even in the middle of cooking a dish, you can already say that what you're cooking will be a hit to those who will eat it.

Overall I think cooking is a lot more difficult than baking for basic foods. Baking comes very easily to me. Cooking I have a little bit more difficulty with. I can cook hamburgers and rice and simple stuff. But I struggle a lot more when you get towards more complex meals. I don't think I've ever struggled or messed up with anything that I've baked.
