do you believe that even if you installed the most expensive antivirus software you installed still your pc got infected? yes it is, still your pc got infected. why? because antivirus software is just a software, it really depends on the user of the pc why their pc got infected. what do you think?

I use Malwarebytes and love it. I have had no problems with them, but have had problems with other anti-virus programs. This one seems to take care of everything for me and I'm very happy with it. I suppose it's the user's fault in a sense if their pc gets infected, but it's up to the virus control to capture it and quarantine it or remove it.

I heard Malwarebytes is a very good program. It's free, isn't it?

It is a very good program. Yes, there is a free download, but you have to keep up with the free one daily for updates and scanning. If you pay for Malwarebytes, it does all this automatically. I have the free download as I'm not working at the moment, but if I had the money, I would do it in a heartbeat. You also can use Malwarebytes alongside your virus control for added protection against Malware and Spyware. It's excellent.

My antivirus is Kaspersky anti virus. It is good compared to others that ca't detect trojan virus. I like it because when it detected a virus it will alarm like the sound of a pig crying. Yes, it is hard to avoid getting virus in our PCs.

As far as my knowledge of computers and antivirus goes the antivirus software can just detect the virus and I dont think it can clean the virus. Expensive software just helps us in detecting the virus that is infecting our computer.

The risk of a virus infection is there always, it doesn't matter if you use the cheapest or the most expensive antivirus software, none antivirus can detect all the existing virus, so if you get a virus that your antivirus can't detect you'll get infected. The problem is if you visit risk sites, open all emails, even if you don't know who send it, if you connect USB memories or cell phones in other computers... for minimize the risk take care of you do or connect to your computer. I use avira antivir free version and I like so much is good, easy to use and its free...

Yes you are not 100% safe from viruses even if you installed an antivirus software. But at least you are not 100% exposed to viruses. Antivirus can protect your system as long as its virus definition is updated.

Let us say a part of your reason is true, but its not because anti-virus is just a software... virus can still infect your computer no matter how strong your anti virus you installed, it is because not all kinds of virus can be detected by anti virus... and most of those virus can do more damage to your pc...

I use Panda Cloud Antivirus. It's free. Avast didn't work so well for me. Yes, I agree with you. The user should still be careful because sometimes, the antivirus cannot always detect viruses because there are some viruses that are not yet listed in the database, especially if the virus is newly created.

YEah, even if one's computer is protected by antivirus software, it does not mean we are 100% safe from any invasions.. haha =D There are many ways for virus to enter our system, and we will never know.. SOmetimes, it's caused by a seeming harmless link, or even email by friends.. haha =D As such, no matter how expensive our antivirus software is, they wont be able to stop the invasion.. BUt it will be good, when it comes to detection and healing those invasion though.. haha

It depends on which anti virus you are using.next comes the licensing ,whether your anti virus in a free version or licensed version . then comes the settings of the anti virus . All depeds on the settings . So the settings plays a pivot role. next comes the configuration of your computer .most of the anti-virus consumes lots of your memory. So all depends on the user of the pc

I know the user does effect the antivirus program since you have to take the time to update it.Since not all programs auto update and depending on the program you have to do a manual scan to get some viruses. But you can also set your program to do a manual scan every set number of days. Also just because some thing costs more does not mean its the best.

i have used many av softwares and i always get infected. it doesn't matter what software you're using. i am currently using avast on my laptop and avg on desktop pc. i have experience with norton, avira antivir and f-secure too. usually i have to get rid of trojans and viruses manually so i use antivirus softwares mainly for detection and not getting rid of harmful programs.

I've used AVG free antivirus for the past 5 years, and it hasn't let me down. It has daily updates, and it has a free edition. Even better, you can choose which features to install or to leave out. You can opt to have everything in, like email scanner, malware scanner, website checker, that sort. Or if you prefer your PC not getting bogged down by everything, just install the Anti-virus core :)
