That is just wonderful that two go together; husband and wife. I hope these little excursions serve to bring you closer together..IT really can be quite a fun adventure..I hope that your hubby knows all the brands you really like;)+

If I decide to do the shopping during the week, then it is me that does it. My husband works nights and sleeps during the day. If I can hold off until the weekend, then we usually go and do it together. But, I would say most of the time it is me doing it alone.

I do find that the US is so much more 'traditionally sexist' than the UK! At least, from talking to the people I know in the States! I think, in our household, the grocery shopping is just about equally divided. Sometimes I will do it, sometimes my wife will. It depends on who feels like shopping! One tip. Never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach and always make a list!

I'm glad to hear that men do half the shopping, and other things. In the US like you said sometimes the work seems like a one sided thing. Both people usually work, but yet the women still have to go grocery shopping, then like little red hen, she has to cook, clean the kitchen. This is my opinion.

My husband and I do it together. Sometimes I wish I could do it alone, as he buys so much more that is on the list. But, we only have one vehicle. But, I do enjoy being with him.

Yes, you should enjoy what ever both of you do together, since a lot of wives do not have the privilege of going with their husbands.

There is only me, so I have to do it. The good thing is I can have what I like. When I go to the supermarket it is mainly the ladies doing the shopping. The men that I see have the smaller baskets so are either single or only shopping for one nights meal. I feel most for thoses with young children shopping alone. Mastering a trolly & a toddler must be very hard.

Yes you are correct in saying that the women do most of the shopping. The men mostly just get what they think of in one munute, they don't study ahead for what will we have tomorrow for lunch.

I'm the mother, I do of course. I would have nothing but junk if my hubby or kids did it.

Well, since I do not drive, we do the shopping together. I pick out most of the stuff though, but it is nice having someone with me to remind me what I might be forgetting.

I do my shopping at Walmart because my daughter (13) loves to go there. I pick and decide what to get while she begs me to buy all junk.

I do the grocery shopping. I would have loved it if my husband could have helped out sometimes. But he is a pretty busy man and he has no clue about it. Though he's never come out and said it, I feel that he thinks it's beneath him to do grocery shopping.

Even though I'm living with my mom for the time being, I'm the only one doing the grocery shopping. Her job can't pay for everything so I'm just trying to help the best I can.

I do it, I'm the wife/mom. My hubby hates grocery shopping, the few times I have had to ask him to run in for something he grabs the first thing he sees, often the wrong product and he overpays, so it's better if I just do it.
