Did you plan your retirement age?

I have seen people working at the age of 60 and there are some great politicians enjoying the ministrial benefit at the age of 70 as well. in Todays life it seems that we will work till the day we can. I will work till the day I am physically and mentally fit. I have taken a pension plan that will start paying me at the age of 50 as I had decided to stop working at 50 but does not seem that I will stop workign by that age. What about you? Did you decide a retirement age for you?

Hi Ajay, I always wanted to retire by 45, I was a few years late. :) Nevertheless, I am there. Of course, I am working. I cant afford to become victim of Alzheimers, or other forms of dementia. :) But now it is like, if I dont want to do work, I can close the system, and go out! That liberty is a great feeling. Working because we have no choice is quite stressful, but working when we have a choice makes it enjoyable. Good you planned to get pension from 50. That's the way to go.

Thats good to know. I think will still work after 50 but there should not be any obligation as you said, If I wish to go out, I will go after closing the system. Thanks for the response and have great time.

Business is good, you will work as per your choice, profit would be your and also loss would be your, No boss to ask you about status of work. You will always have choice to shut down the PC and go out. Thanks for the response.

Hey, its your choice if you want to discuss this further but why you do not want to plan it. May be you have already saved enough money for that time. Thanks for the response.

No, I haven't. Then again, I'm nineteen years old and not even out of college yet! I'm guessing I'd retire around 60 years of age though because it's the most common age to retire for insurance purposes and such.

Earlier the better but you can take retirement plan once you get employed. Good Luck. Thanks for the response.
