I'm sure many of you are probably thinking either "who the heck is this?" or "omg! She is still alive!" LOL! I've missed everyone here so very much. A lot has happened lately in my life, and it's been very hectic. As of right now I'm having to use the library cpu to do anything at all online. Very frustrating when you have internet withdrawals every day. Hahaha! I have moved out away from my husband and am in the process of filing for divorce. I have had to suck up my pride and get assistance with food, etc. But it's getting me through til I can either get work or go back to school. I'm still fighting Social Security Disability. I can't even get my dang lawyer to call or email me back....but that's a whole other story. Right now I am living with friends. Hopefully I will have internet up and running soon. For those of you that I emailed about my kitties, I DO have 5 of them with me now. My husband has my two dogs still and two of the inside kitties, plus the outside feral ones. So that's a good thing. Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say hi to all of my dear beloved friends here. I love you all very much. I will try to be back on soon. If you don't hear from me, it's cuz I'm still fighting with getting my internet running. Take care everyone. Lots of love and hugs to all......Carryl

Oh Carryl...where to start? I've thought about you from time to time and wondered what happened to you, missed you, missed hearing about the kitties. There was no doubt in my mind that we would see you again when you could get here.
Wow! So much happening...I had no idea. I hope the separation is amicable...you should have stayed in the house and encouraged him to leave....lol.
You are certainly in a pickle and very lucky to have such good friends to take you in. All I can really do is send best wishes and lots of energy and hope that you can find everything you need really quickly...you seem to be doing well so far...I'd have to live in my car if I lost my home.

Hi sweetie. I've missed you too. The separation is actually going pretty well. He's being nice for a change. He's even helped me out with a few things here and there. It makes me want to say to him "Where's my husband and who the heck are you?" LOL! I wish I could have stayed in the house and kicked his butt out. But the house belongs to his parents (they live in another house they own that's actually about a block and a half from where I am now), so I'm the one that was SOL. Oh well. That house is falling apart anyway, and so far out of building code standards it's scary. So I'm actually glad not to be there anymore. I go back every week to say hi to my dogs and my two outside cats that he kept. He still has two of my inside babies, but I never see them, and I'm not ready to go over there when he's there and go into that house yet. Ten years is a long time to be in a home and then just up and leave it and it still hurts. But I'll get past it slowly but surely. Sending you lots n lots of hugs hon.

I'm finally back and pretty much settled in. Only now I have a house full of people that are as addicted to the computer as I am. But it's MY computer, so I get to dictate when others can use it. Hehehehe! It's good to be back. I've missed you hon.

Thank you hon. I'm glad I took the step, no matter how rough it's been the last couple of months. Hopefully as soon as I get the papers filed and he responds I will start getting spousal support. Even if it's just a little bit it will definitely help. Thanks again hon. Hugs

I've missed seeing you here but glad to see you pop in here. As for the SS disability issue...do what I did and contact a local Congressman. In many cases they have representatives that deal with SSA issues. I had to do that when I was having problems with my benefits--lawyers tend to take forever and like to drag cases out--the longer they drag the case, the more money they get..LOL

Yes, I think I'm going to have to contact my congressman again. I have tried to get in touch with my damn lawyer or his assistance 3 times now in the last week and no one has gotten in touch with me. I feel absolutely deserted by him. I owe $35 to him, but I guess that's enough for him to ditch me....or at least it feels like it anyway. Thanks hon. I've missed you bunches. I'm so glad to be back. Sending you lots of hugs.

that you are alive and well! Sorry to hear about the "stuff"
you're going through, but apparently there's alot of that
going around here, so you certainly are not alone! There a

Hello Katlady! I have missed the beautiful pink kitty! I am glad to hear from you again and I am sorry for all that you are going through including loss of Internet. It’s a shame you had to be the one to leave but at least now you have made a very brave new start and the world is at your feet. You still have some of your cats with you...That’s great, I hope everything falls into place for you as it should and love and happiness fill your life again soon. Don't stay away too long this time!

I need no refresher to know you, Carryl. I have missed seeing a KatLady2 discussion notification in my inbox for quite sometime now. And I'm sorry it had to come down for a divorce filing. I really hope all the other things work out in your favor. You're missed!
