Is Youtube becoming a little overcrowded?

With the introduction of Vevo, which I feel is absolutely terrible because of it's advertisements and excessive ownership of music videos, and also the addition of new comedy channels and pointless media is Youtube becoming overcrowded or maybe kind of pointless. It shares a variety of tutorials and useful videos but is it overloaded with useless clips as well?

I've seen many nonsense videos uploaded there and I hate viewing it. I think there are thousands and thousands of videos or maybe million.

Yes, I was just previously viewing Youtube and it's getting a bit out of hand.
