CFA (USA) exams - for all the three levels- will be held tomorrow all over the world. Here in India the center is in Mumbai. In the western countries they have many centers in each country probably because the applicants are also more; another reason could be that for poorer countries like India, China the cost ( fee) for the exam is quite high & considerably expensive when you convert the fee in local currency - and in spite of this fact the people appearing from such countries seem to be increasing by leaps & bounds with each year. And the exams for all levels are held only once a year in June every year except for the 1st level- which is also held in December every year. I believe these are the toughest exams to pass to-date among all the examinations held anywhere in the world. And the aspirants study throughout the year for this, last minute preparation is of no use!! I know many aspirants for these exams ( as my daughter is preparing for the 3rd. & final level) and luckily she has passed the previous 2 without much problems- it is very common to see these examinees repeat several times to get through!!! Do you also know any aspirants for this year's examination. So join me in wishing her and all the examinees ALL THE BEST.

Chartered Financial Analyst we throw around these abbreviations and people like me look at CFA and wonder what does that mean, okay they are having a world wide exam for it but what is it for , what does it mean? so looked up CFA and it comes out Chartered Financial Analyst . so wish people would tell us what these abbrevs. mean cause all of us are not into finances at all. help., so Udayrao2 I am sending a lot of good wishes that she ace the exams as well as all the others ace them too.So hope its okay if I also send prayers for all the examinees to do really well too. good luck God bless.

Hi Hatley thanks a lot for the good wishes - have passed them on to her & her friends in this. And as per our Hindu belief and tradition good vibes/wishes help a lot too- as it is in the form of an energy or waves - so that is probably why people always wish others luck for others. And about the CFA abbreviation - sorry about that- you see that word ( which I also did not know till my daughter got into) is not known to people outside the financial field !!! Till today my wife keeps on forgetting the full form - and asks every time what it stands for!! Funny ain't it Thanks a lot once again
