Do you enjoy traveling in an RV? To me rving looks like so much fun. We are currently looking for a 5th wheel. I would love to travel and see the United States. I am hoping in the next two years we can be full timers. What is your favorite part and your least favorite part of rving?

20 years ago my parents, my brother and I rented an RV for two weeks and we drove around in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. It was a lot of fun and we got to see many different places. My favourite part was the feeling of freedom and independence. We didn't have to worry about busses, trains and timetables and things like that, and that was nice. It was also nice to have a small kitchen and a bathroom, but I didn't enjoy emptying the toilet, that was probably my least favourite part My husband and I have also talked about renting a RV one day. We will have to save up some money first, but it could be fun to try it again.

I have always dreamed of getting an RV. I used to want to get a Bongo. It has a triangular roof and it sleeps four people. When my family was smaller I thought about getting a Roma Home. It is the size of a large car but it sleeps two people. It would be economical to run. When I was in Australia I spent a little amount of time traveling in a hired camper van with a friend. I liked seeing the views out of the large windows. I thought it was excellent to be able to stop where we liked and have everything we needed on-board. When I spent several months in a caravan my least favorite part of emptying the toilet.

We went one weekend with my parents in a borrowed RV. We sure did enjoy it. My mother was diabetic and we ate most meals out, but we got into a traffic jam and needed to eat. We could make our meal and she did not get sick.
