Does anyone really like myLot, or is everyone just trying to make money?

I'm new to myLot and I'm still trying to understand what it's all about. I'm starting to see how it can be an interesting and fun site to kill some time on, but I'm wondering if everyone's real motivation for being here is just to make money. I kind of get the feeling that people might be inclined to write as much garbage as they can think of to increase the chances of earning more money here. Any thoughts?

I like mylot but I like money too, although I dont come to mylot to make money as the main goal. I actually come to mylot to learn and to discuss. Mylot has earned me money on the site and from information that I could not find else where but I enjoy participating in the discussions when I can even if they are not about money making.

Wow, 34 responses in one day! I think its kind of hard to have a discussion with 34 different people. I mean, so many people responded to my discussion, I can't possibly respond to each of their comments individually. It is kind of annoying that the only way I can respond is by responding to an individual response though.

Firstly, the only way i found mylot was because my main intention was make money online. But then as i get used to mylot i even forget about the money and was just on it for the fun. And that way even when i was enjoying and wasn't thinking about the money, i realise my money was increasing more than when i was trying my best to make money. Also when i was trying to make money, i got bored of this place until i even stop comming here. but when i came back after a long while i tried to have fun and now i am so addicted to mylot. 
So its best to just sit back, let loose and just have some real fun.

To be honest, I come to Mylot because of two things: 1) money and 2) express myself and interact with others. I have to admit that I learn a lot from this site, although the earning part is not so good, but the learning aspect of it is what really pulls me here and do what I'm doing.

Hi cutie18f, I have same answer with you. I came here for earnings but then I noticed
that it pays low. However, it does not turn me off coming back in mylot every now and
then. Actually mylotting gives us many opportunities. Through this site, we discover
more earning online sites which can increase our earnings. We can also meet brilliant
and wonderful people here who can be our friends. This is also a good site for
spending one's vacant hours. As of now, one of my major reasons why I am here is to
practice my English. By participating in mylot, I can use new vocabularies that I
learned. It help me more to remember those difficult words. I also feel happy
knowing that I help our fellow mylotters increase their earnings by participating
on their discussion. One more, whenever I responded to some people problems and
gave them some suggestions, I feel a sense of being complete. It is like my life
have a worth that I make a proof of my existence.Those are all the reasons why I
love mylot.

to be honest, my first motivation is money and nothing else. but when i started liking the habit of posting comments t discussions that interest me and got to express my own dilemmas too to other people then i started to feel that i am liking mylot because of that rather than because of money alone. i also got to help a lot of people here by posting answers and advices to their problems. i haven't wrote any garbage yet here because i simply don't have any garbage stuffs to write just to earn.. :)

I came here with the intent on making money however I am reading that the earnings are low. However I do not intend on leaving as this site has loads of useful information on it. Yes people may write alot to make money however they do not by any means write garbage I have found so many amazing topics here filled with good conversation. That is hard to find on the internet today. I think the money initially motivates everyone but even if mylot didn't pay I am sure people would still use it (though I hope it keeps paying and the staff doesn't read this post)

I just wrote about this in another thread, but there goes again:
I think a lot of people find MyLot and come here in the first place because of money, yes. But the reason a lot of people stay and continue posting is that they like the place. So the truth is somewhere in between.
Also, I do not think everyone is motivated by the same things, so it probably varies from person to person too.

Hello! And let me tell you that your question is similar when you ask people if they like something :some say no, others yes, others shrugs, others won't say or do anything or others will even lie. Now I personally came here for money and I'm sure that mostly all those who joined here thought of money, but when I got more used to it I have changed my motivation to just say what i can and help, the money motivation lol i have moments that i forget it pays you for posting. In fact there are weeks even months when I'm not posting anything and come here when I feel the need to just write what i think, i don't type "garbage" nor posting meaningless responses, what I type is something done with honesty and done by the will to respond a discussion as it should be done.

to be honest..at first i joined mylot to earn money..but eventually i enjoyed responding to discussions..i'm responding because i want to share my thoughts and ideas..i'm glad to be of help to those people who are here to have someone to share their problems to..i'm also learning from mylotters at the same time..try to visit discussions under life, relationships and people..

Of course I like Mylot. Thats why I'm on here more than any other sites. I'm not going to lie though. I do like to make a little money on here. However if they decided to announce one day they won't be paying anymore I will continue to use the site as long as its around.

I guess,everyone came here for earning purposes,as first priority.
Soon to realize the later part of enjoying making friends,having inter action with mylotters discussion and most of all...enjoying the fun created with friendship.
Mylot is not just simply an earning site,but i called is,another window to other dimension.
I learn a lot from other mylotters,how to deal with different people from different cultures,tradition,religions,color and race.
Most of all,it doesn't matter who you are,you are most welcomed here in mylot,and mylotters (mostly)are so kind and helpful.
I experienced it myself,and i hope you will find this site worth your time.

Making money here is not that much. Although it does add over time. There is more to it here obviously. If you ask me, I would say I find joy in responding to discussions as well as to post one. It makes my mind active and alert. Besides, here's an opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the globe. My typing speed has improved and my time here is well spent.

i joined out of curiosity and i was also looking to earn some extra money. i' still here because i find it interesting; there are different discussions and i can choose which to respond to. aside from responding to discussions, you can also get paid for doing some tasks.

Hi, i think not everyone do this for money. This is really an interesting website and the topic here is more general and wide. For example, there are a lot of website similar with mylot. U get paid buy give comment on discussion. But the pay is limited to certain topic, i think the limited topic are investment and online earning. For other general topic, we are not getting paid no matter how many comments we give. So, after few day i log in to the websites, i feel a bite boring but mylot is different. The topics here are very interesting.

..aside from earning money..I love making new friends share and learn ideas with them!!! And mylot really helps me improve my english

For the garbage thing I'm sure that the admin as well as other fellow mylotters are doing their best to keep the "quality" of every discussions here..

I am glued here because I love it. All my earnings just add up and I don't use them yet even though I am here posting for over three years.
I have made many friends here from all over the world and one day I will get to meet some of them.
MyLot is a distraction from offline problems and stress but it is also my online home. I know that whenever I come here I will always find a friend somewhere.
Oh, just in case you have not read the FAQs I think someone ought to tell you that you do not earn for these responses. You only earn for what you type. You can earn by commenting on them and that is what makes it into a discussion rather than just a question with some answers.

i like mylot i get to se what other think and love to corect my english frome time to time , and as a bonus you alsaw get paid for every thing you do around hear its very nice and im mad that i did not hear about it earlier :P , i shour would whant to know how many payouts mylot has given since thei are online :).

I like everybody else on here joined to make money.
But what I found straight away was that this site is much more than a money making site; it is addictive and like a social networking site, here just by chatting and sharing your opinions you DO actually generate an income.
Oh yes,there are people on here who chat rubbish just to make a quick buck, but the majority of people post interesting discussions and we all generally have a good time.
I hope that you enjoy your time here and I look forward to joining in discussions with you.

The first reason i came here is too get some extra pocket money, but after sometimes i also enjoy sharing my thoughts with other member.
