I hate people that steal things or find things that they know who they belong to

If i was to find something then if i knew the person i would give it back to them as i would like to think that if they found something of mine they would give it back to me.Its seems that there are alot of people out there that do not care if they find other peoples things even if that person can afford to buy more of the things they have lost.It is still classed as stealing in the laws eyes.

I agree with you. If I find something that belongs to someone that I know, then I will give it to them. I think that it is very wrong to keep something of someone else's, especially, when they are looking for it. A person will sit just as good into your presence and lie and say that they have not seen what the person is missing. They are hard down lying because they have already found it and is just holding onto it. I think that is very sad. I look at it this way: If a person found something that belongs to someone be kind enough to give it back. Because if you don't, then you will experience the same thing too. Someone will take their things and never return them to the rightful owner. This is a lesson for anyone that thinks about keeping or stealing someone else things.

Cream97, you said it right. I totally agree with you. Those who did not return something they found to the one it belongs too, they are going to experience it too. There is such a thing as the Law of sowing and reaping. When you sow a good deed you will reap a good deed when you sow a bad did, then definitely you are going to reap a bad did.

Karma will get them! It would be nice if we lived in a world of good and loving folk but sadly, we don't. We have to be forever watching our backs. That is one reason I have reclused myself. I trust very few and like even less. I remember when I was young I spent most of my time at my grandmother's. She never locked her door even after someone broke into her home.

actually..most of the time, if i found something left behind..i prefer not to touch it but i will inform the people around the place about it..maybe the news will reach the owner and get it himself/herself..i'm doing it that way because if i, myself lost something, i always track the places have i been to..and i always manage to find what i lost in that way..

I believe that it's still classified as stealing. I mean, if you aren't making an effort to find the person who the item belongs to, you are preventing them from getting it back. That's the odd things about this world. No body wants to be a charity case due to pride, yet some are willing to take whatever they find if no one else is there to claim it right away..

Honestly, I'm a little afraid of karma. So I don't steal things, and I don't take things that don't belong to me. The fact that it is the good and right thing to do is already a bonus. I don't understand why other people do these things. And when karma don't get them, the more I hate them!

If you find something that does not belong to you, you should always try to return it to the person that it belongs to or return it to the police/lost and found department. If you are able to find the person it belongs to the gratitude that follows is always heart warming. For example, my sister was out getting some last miniute things for her anniversary, with her hands full she left her wallet somewhere along the way home. She was very upset and it put a huge damper on their anniversary. However, a few days later her wallet showed up (via mail) in her mail box (all cards and cash is inside). She was so happy. Luckily the person had put their return address on the envelope so she sent them a big bunch of flowers and a giant box of chocolate. THere were pictures and information in her wallet that were irreplacable.

Firstly it is very wrong to steal things which are not ours, then if ever we have found something which we know to whom does it belong then we have a duty to return the stuff to the person instead of keeping it with us although knowing it belong to the other one.

That is one thing that really pisses me off very often. I don't have too many people with such characters around me but yes there are a few though and very selfish people. They won't mind, they just think 'Finders Keepers' and I hate that policy unless it is a treasure you have found ;)

Oh i have met such a person. One of my class mate did this. And i always tell him it's very bad habits more over it's a sin. I also hate such a person who steal things or find out anything but don't return the owner. More over they hide the things or said it's there own things.

i know it always happens to me too. People take away my stuff and never return it makes me go to their place and demand for my own things back. WTH am i supposed to do??? I wish i could have my revenge on some people like that.(SIDDHATHA FROM NARAYANA COLLEGE)

I understand your frustration and irritation regarding that matter. II strongly dislike people who do not have the decency to return things, that doesn't belong to them, especially if they know the person who belongs it too.

Hi Jugs, I know just what you are saying. Your discussion hit a chord with me as I'm deal with such an issue right now. I can't even tell you how wound up I am about it. It's a long story and I'm too wound up to go into details but I bought a parts car off of a person that I know quite well. Now it is a big huge drama because apparently she turned around and gave it to another guy who she owes money to. I have a bill of sales and was awaiting the title and I was just informed by a member of her family that this guy has the actual title which I was waiting on! It may end up in court. I hope not because I've always gotten along well with all the people involved.

I do hate such ple too!! Stealing from ple, whom they know, and yet they went ahead!! The worse batch of ple, are those whom sees the action, and yet doing nothing, turning a blind eye, refusing to help for fear of getting into trouble!! How i wish those by-standers will get a taste of their own medicine one day, and let them be left alone fending away those troubles, while we watch?? haha

Hiya jugs, A few things fall down here where I live too from the neighbours upstairs so I always leave them out on the metal Rail so they can see them. But usually no one comes to claim them. So when I get tired of seeing the same items there I put them at the bottom of the stairs here just by the lift and they usually get taken by someone I don´t know who I hope by the right person. I was put off by a very rude neighbour upstairs who reckoned I should have kept her dustpan till she had time to come down for it as it still had the sticker on from where she bought it. I told her that because it was only a dustpan and with no name on it or label I could not know who it belonged to so I had put it by the Stairs and just hope that all the neighbours who live here are honest. That is not my fault if someone else decides it belongs to them. If it had been my new dustpan I would have taken the time to go down and ask for it not wait till about three months later. How on earth could I have known it belonged to her in particular and she was so rude anyway so I did not feel bad about it at all. Also any letters that get shoved in to my post box go straight back into the ones they belong in.

yes...it's really annoying to know some people who found someones else belongings and they know the owner yet they still keep them.

In country, it finder keeper,if your find lost items , you can give it to the lost and find box, but usually the clerk or helpers will take the stuffs anyway , it is well know, except if the person is that honest, will wait for the person to come back to search for it. Handphone lost ,the person will call the hp, but most of all the times, the hp will be switch off, the sim card throw away, and the hp will he stolen.Keys they will put in the lost and find, wallet is doom and the contents will be kept by the finder. If the finder is that kind, he/she will drop the identification card into letter box and it will be returned to the owner.Personally if i find things that i know who belongs to , i will call or sms the person first and tell them the things are found, so atleast the person is not worry sick and items returned to them.
