i have 3 kids and i gave birth all the 3 of them by caesarian section.. expensive way of giving birth.. so my husband decided that 3 kids were enough and i also agree with the nice idea.. but how? so i talked to my doctor and told him what our plan and ask him what is best birth control he may suggests. in my case he says the best is ligation..so after 2 months of giving birth to my youngest baby i went to another operation but this time for a birth control purpose.. so far for 19 years of being ligated i am in good condition healthy and no side effect of being one.. how about you? what method of birth control you are using?is there any bad side effect for you like i hear from some of my friends?

I'm currently using the pill. I do not have children yet. My husband and I are planning on starting our family in a few years. I will most likely go off the pill about 6 months before we decide to start trying since I know that your body takes some time to adjust to no longer being on the pill. I'm honestly not sure what type of birth control we will use once we have children and are done adding to our family! Haven't thought that far yet.. lol

I got also 3 kids already, the first was a normal delivery then the second and the last one I also gave birth through caesarian section. Before I'm into pills but I dont know why now I cant take it anymore because I'm not feeling well and I gained weight. On my third son before the CS operation I plan to be ligated at the same time because my OBgyne suggested it but in the last minute I've changed my mind. And now my husband is coming home and I'm planning to have a depo injection. He will just stay here for 3 months and after he left i will not take anymore contraceptives.

I had a tubal ligation a year ago, after our fourth child was born. He was an emergency delivery, which messed me up inside pretty badly. They almost had to do a hysterectomy. I decided that since I now had four kids, and another pregnancy would more than likely kill me and the baby both, then I would have the ligation. They actually did it while I was still open from having my c-section. It was pretty wild. I hope that this method will work for me. I haven't had very good luck when it comes to different birth control methods. I conceived one of my sons while I was on the pill. I didn't miss a single dose, so I don't know why it didn't work. My last child was conceived while I was on the Depo shot. I had no idea that I was even pregnant until I was about four and a half months along. I went to the emergency room because I was having a gall bladder attack, and ended up finding out that I was going to have another baby. The biggest side effect of the Depo shot, other than it totally not working for me was the pain. My stomach would twist in knots for about three days after I received each shot. And then there was the weight gain. I gained about ten pounds in two months (before I gained the baby weight.) Thankfully, I never have to go through all of that again.

I have to say that the pill did work for me. I also had two c-sections and after my last son had a tubal ligation.I wish i never had that done! My monthly cycle is horrible, heavier, and not consistent. It can last 2, to 4 days depending. Sometimes i get a migraine, or back pains really bad.If i could take it back i would. At least with the pill i knew when i was going to be on my period.
