My family surprised me this year with breakfast in bed. It was really sweet. So do you surprise your mom or dad or spouse with breakfast in bed on Mother's Day, Father's day or both? Did someone make you breakfast in bed on Mother or Father's Day. Care to share what you made?

I love getting breakfast for my family members.I do it when I have no college to go.I love to see the happiness in their eyes.It will be totally fantastic. My mother often gets me breakfast, now and then my father too brings for me.My sister is so lazy that she can't get her breakfast too.

I have never received nor given breakfast in bed. My husband usually makes us breakfast on the weekends, so it wouldn't really be much different for a special occasion. He likes to make eggs and pancakes on the weekends and I am not very good at making those dishes. He usually writes me a poem for special days, which I really love! I cherish his poetry and I love the fact that he has consistently done it for ten years! My sons and husband also give me gifts -- nothing expensive, just things like books or cds. Then, we usually do something fun like see a movie or go out to eat. I am so glad you got a good Mother's Day this year!

I was asleep when the family made you breakfast in bed, but I wish I could have been awake to do so. It seemed like a good idea and I'm glad it was sweet to you. I'm not a mother yet, so nobody has made me a breakfast in bed. And I'm definitely not going to be a father any time soon, so I don't see what's going on there. I think the family made you eggs and stuff?

hi ladym, that was so sweet of your family. i bet you really are happy with what they have done and it makes you feel special. well i haven't done that yet for my parents or even for my husband, i have no chance of preparing breakfast in bed for my mom/dad since i am no longer living with them and when i am home for a vacation, still i can't do that coz my mom wakes up really early more than anybody else in the house. and usually she wants to prepare something for me whenever i am there, but i wish i could surprise her one time. with my husband, hmmm i will take it to consideration! haha but i have to wake up really earlier than him. huh! its difficult to give him breakfast in bed coz whenever i am up, he's up to! and while im cooking, he's already taking a bath...haiz! but one of these days, i hope i can give him a breakfast in bed.

Apparently I tried it once to my very own mom... I've done it when i was still in Grade 4, i woke up early and bought some roses from the market... The funny thing is, i asked the money from her just to buy something for her... hahaha... Well anyway, as i reached home from the market, i immediately made my way to the kitchen and prepared a sunny side-up egg, corned beef and some garlic rice and some orange juice... So i waked my mother up just like similar days, and as she reached the stairs, just before she reached the dining room, i gave her another kiss and hand her over the roses that i bought. Dramatically, she then cried, tears fell from her eye at that very moment. I was very glad to do such a thing for her. There's nothing like a good payback to a mom who never gives up on you whenever you need her the most... ^_^
