I've checked the link, and found those pictures really amazing. The painter is really gifted and talented to have drawn those images thru pencil all alone. There are people who are really gifted with talents, and i admired those ones who practiced and keep improving what they had.

Those are amazing pictures my friend. I am impressed. Does the website say anything about his background, whether he was taught this or just happened to have the talent that he is displaying?

youless, I must admit that he is an exceptionally talented artist indeed where he could bring life literally into the picture. He is extremely gifted and it is an undeniable fact. But deviantArt has been around for more than 10 years already and there are many more talented artists in various discipline.

If you see it closely, perhaps you can see that they were drawn by pencil.

This is the force of the art.It can change the pencil to beautiful pictures. It can change the ugly girls to beautiful girls. It can change the old man to young man.We can see that many artists' pictures have value of 10000000$.It is the magic of the art.

I love pencil scetching, but have not done it for very long time. I learned from a person who was scetching, following photos and he taught me that you need a hard pencil for the shadows and do it very gently so that the shadows grow slowly - it takes time and you need a very good light, I used daylight. The best is black and white photos - the old fashioned are of excellent quality so I tested this with pictures of my grandparents. There are many ways to get the right proportions on the picture, especially now with computers and so on, also old fashioned dia photos can work if you have the projector to show them on the wall - directly on the paper.. This way of scetchin is rather easy once you know how to do it and have lots of patience..

Well, I am trying but am still very much an amateur. But it is really fun when you get started. There is one photo of my paintings on the profile page - a cat of course..

At first glance I thought they were black and white photos. After having a closer look, I found that they are indeed drawn with pencils. The skill is stunningly delicate. The artist who draws this must be very talented.

That's the right word. These paintings are just amazing. I hope I can look at one with my eyes instead of browsing it through the internet. I was ambitious to learn portrait painting during my teen age, but I gave up because it's quite tough to master it.

he is really a wonderful painter. painting with charcoal or pencil is one that i dreamt of when i was young, but not able to fulfill it. maybe, they are really a gift and not something that can easily be learnt from school.
