Something so strange happened yesterday, and it was coming from my bedroom!

I was standing in my front room and I just so happened to glance towards my bedroom. And I saw that the room light was on. And I said to myself that "oh, my husband must be up in the room." So, I went to walk off towards the kitchen and something just told me to go back towards the bedroom and I did. As I was about to go down the hallway, the light was not on. So, I just stood there and I was like, "what just happened here?"
I decided to go into our bedroom to ask my husband if he had the light on, and had turned it back off, and he told me no, he did not. He was laying in bed resting his neck and back. Our kids were in the kitchen. I think that our youngest daughter was taking a nap in the bed. I know that none of our kids ad turned the light on. I saw the light on and then it was off... It was a bright yellow light. I know that it was not the sun glaring in the bedroom. I know how the sun looks when it has lighted up our bedroom. We have dark navy curtains that shuts out most of the sunlight from outside. I know what I saw, it was not a glare or bright light from the sun. We don't keep our lights on in the day time like that. What could this have been?

Hi Cream, Perhaps you husband was receiving healing without his knowledge whilst resting and sometimes the light can be seenby others, years ago a friend who had been in accident remembered seeing a white lightand felt his toes being tickled too, the person requesting his healing also tickled his toes to see if feeling was in the leg. Other than that can't really think of anything unless their was a presenceof some sort in the bedroom. Huggles. Ellie :D

I think there is one or more ghost in your house. Are you experiencing this everynight?
Because I have been living in a haunted house for 4 years, I know how this spirit just haunts you at the middle of the night and you can feel their presence in the house gives u goose bumps.
Why don't you sought a medium to get rid of this haunting? I hope you and your husband and kids are safe.

That is interesting. It could be that you just aren't as used to the sunlight as you thought you were or it could be something shining from outside. Someone could be holding a object that just happened to direct its light at the window and show through at that particular minute.

My sister's house used to be like that before she moved out. Sometimes the lights were switched on and would switch off by themselves. And this usually happened in the middle of the night sometimes in the early hours. Initially she thought there was a problem with the switches. But upon checks realized there wasn't any. There seems to be a similarity here. I'm not sure why or what either. But since my sister has had a lot more of the good things coming her way since, you probably would.

Hi Cream,
That used to happen to me in one apt. that I lived in with my husband. The attic light would just be on. He would get upset with me thinking I had been up there and just been careless and left it on. The truth was that I did not go up there at all! It happened a lot. I think you have yourself a little ghost friend.

I believe this is a loved one or perhaps someone who use to live in your house trying to let you know that they were there.
When I was younger I slept over at my friend's house and her dad lived on a farm. She told me she had a ghost named Charlie and after staying there over night I believed her because I seen him but not in the form as a ghost but in the same form as you are talking about. When I seen him, it woke me up and I thought that someone was shining a flashlight at me from in the hallway but no one was doing that.

I think its a spirit trying to tell you they are there but mean no harm or trying to get in contact with you, it had happened to me too.

It sounds like a benevolent spirit, but, if it gets bad don't wait before you get help. I don't mean to worry you, though.
I've had many experiences like that in most of the apartments that I've lived in, but, I always rationalize them and just get on with life. I'm not worried.

Maybe is the car spot right reflected thru the nearest window.Sometime, is electric flucltuation , cause the light bulb to on and off,often burned.PErsonally if ghost or unnatural stuffs better than play play with those things.Humans are not mend to deal with spirits.Maybe just ignore them and continue to ignore them.

Probably something went wrong with the electricity and it caused like a spark and ignited the lights for a couple seconds before it goes off :)

Put your mind at rest, just assumed nothing happened because it may be bright light from the sun that reflet on your curtains.

I think u just saw it wrongly, due to your stress about your in laws, and thus causing u to see things, which is not happening at all.. hehe

Why even ask the question when you're just going to ignore the responses that will tell you what you dont want to hear? I mean no offense by this, but in your description you already try to make implications on its supernatural origin. I don't think this is something people can deem paranormal from reading this paragraph. If it happens again maybe it is indeed something supernatural, but if not then someone probably just forgot they turned the light on/off because most times its just a sub conscience thing, walk in the room/turn light on without thinking about it
either that or your youngest got up :P
