What was your school's mascot?

If you could change your mascot, what would you change it to? My middle school mascot was an owl. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!! The school I went to in the eighth grade was supposed to be one of the best in the city, and the owl was supposed to be so very 'smart'. It was really lame, especially at games, when we went against panthers or tigers. I know these are common, but still, they were way better than the 'owls'. I mean, who thought of that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I don't think an owl is that bad. My school didn't even have a mascot, it's not that common to have mascots for schools in my country for some reason. But I definately would not have minded an owl. But a tiger would have been cool too!

Sad my school got no mascot. So I ask my niece if their a mascot in her college and she reply only the hated teacher is the mascot..lol.. Maybe she need to reinvent some and then suggest it to the administrator. As I remember my school have different symbol representing each college courses but the school emblem is about The Dame symbol of the Lady.

lol...be grateful you had such a beautiful bird as a mascot. (Have you ever seen a barn owl? They are gorgeous!) My hometown high school's mascot was a bear. We were the Crimson Bears and our colors were red and black. I always liked that but when I was a senior I spent a semester at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah and their mascot was a dart! That isn't even an animal! And the colors were brown and gold! yuckkkkk! But I loved my time there and for the first time in my life actually enjoyed school. I don't think the mascot matters as much as the school spirit and remember....you are only there for a short time in your life. The day will come when you will look back and wish you could go back. :)
