Movie Gallery Is Going Out Of Business! Have You Purchased Any Of Their Movies?

I'm assuming that Movie Gallery is a video rental place, right? I don't think we have any of those around here. But like the above user mentioned, we did have a Hollywood Video store and that one went out of business. I went a bit too late so a lot of the good movies were already gone by then. But I was able to pick up a copy of Resident Evil: Degeneration for very cheap. I guess it's really tough for these video rental places. It's really hard for them to compete with online sites like Netflix as well as those Redboxes that can be found in almost every store. I'm just waiting to see if Blockbuster can pull through.

I've never heard of Movie Gallery, so I'd assume we don't have those here. But I hope you found some good deals.

There are not any Movie Galleries too close to where I am in St. Louis now. I know when I lived in the middle of nowhere there were a few. The Hollywood Video stores went out of business here recently(at least a lot of them have), but I did not go pick out any movies. If I had more money to burn I probably would though.

All the Movie Gallery's are closing? Well I'm going to have to go check out the one in my town. I bet they've got some good deals on movies. Why are they closing anyway? There is another movie place that is closing in the town where my sister lives. She said they've got everything for sale, tables, movies, surround sound systems, even Tv's, and its all cheap. She's already gotten me a table, I told her I'd take a tv if they still have any.

Movie Gallery is going out of business?!! Yahoo. My enemy-ex friend is a manager there. Serves her right for being such an twit. I wonder if the company that bought it out last time will do something and keep her sorry a$$ working. Oh well. Whatever. She doesn't deserve all the good deals she got on all the DVD's she has accumulated over the last few years. Well, that wasn't very nice was it? You don't know the whole story unless you've been on here a while and read my rants.

I sure have been to Movie Gallery. This is the third Movie Gallery that I have been to. The other two have already gone out of business and this one will be out in about another week or so. I have gotten some really good deals there. I will miss then though. They had the free kids rentatl.
