Virus Warning - readbud

I got on this site to see if it was real and in a few minutes I had a horrible virus on my computer. It blocked my AVG and everything else I tried to pull up. I couldn't even save all my documents or pictures because it wouldn't let me put them on disk. I had to wipe it all clean...Don't got to readbud!

I have been going to reabud regularly for awhile now. Are you sure its from Readbud? When did this happen to you?

Ok I went to the site and no sooner I received a pop up saying this site is unsafe. I can't believe it. I have made 25 plus dollars on this site which you can't get payout till you reach 50. So I got halfway there and the site is no good now. I can't believe all my wasted time reading articles and rating them for nothing.

Yeah, I was really excited. I read like 5 articles in no time and had some good change going already!

Yeh, viruses are insidious and you can never be too careful. I've had to reformat my hard drive so many times in the past three months, I'm becoming an expert. 
Not really, but it is frustrating, especially if you can't backup all your files first. I keep all my files on backup disks just in case I have to reformat (AGAIN!). I know there are a few pictures that I lost this last time as I hadn't gotten them backed up yet. I feel for you, mac. 
Here's hoping you can get them replaced somehow.

The writings I have printed out for the most part, except for the few things I was still working on. I suppose the pics are just gone. I had my whole trip to Chicago, all my son's progress here at rehab and lots of the new grandbaby.. all gone! No way to get them back. I have a few of them on facebook so that's good. But I have lost lots of them. I'm looking for storage ideas now!

OOOOhhhh NOOOOOO! That hurts! I lost three chapters of my book I was writing because I didn't have them backed up and I haven't been able to rewrite them ever since. It is so hard to lose something so precious. I feel for you!

Hey, I just started a discussion about virus problem,
I was accessing Readbud and suddenly all the processes got killed, cannot access anything on my laptop. Is this caused by readbud?
I am writing this from guest computer, cannt use my laptop.
Tell me guys if its readbud, I will just get out from readbud and will publish things on other places where people can know about readbud.
This is just not done

i visited readbud today and didnt get any warnign about virus from my anti-virus software... there is still the annoying pop ups though.. but i noticed that readbud is undergoing maintenance.. probably they are already aware that the pop ups hav esome malwares... hopefully they are going to fix it..

That's odd. I've used Readbud for a couple month now and everything seems fine.

That's good. But I tried it again last night and still with pop ups blocked I still had some popup. No problems but I just can't chance it any more.
