Here in the local church, on the eve of ‘Father’s Day’; the local Catholics held a ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ for babies of various age groups. My youngest granddaughter, Subhee, see picture, now 20 months young, took part in it , she earned the first prize. We are so happy. I am not Christian, Father’s Day’ is not our festival, but I honor all religions, I have tons of Christian friends in my city, in India and abroad. We must honor all religions; take part in festivals of each other to enjoy life to the fullest. What is your view on this? How you celebrated, Father’s Day? Professor

Hi Bhuwanji I have got so many friends, who belong to different castes and religions. Since i do not give much importance to all these things, we mix up with all and enjoy all the festivals, My congratulations to subhee for winning the contest and getting a first prize too. We do not celebrate Father's Day.

Hi Sir, Congratulation to you and your granddaughter. I respect all the religions and have faith in all those people who practise different religions. I did not do anything special, spoke to my dad which I do every alternate day. I believe in all day father;s and mother's day .

It must be great fun and a lot of colourful clothings of the little babies. The mothers must be pretty excited as well! We do not have this fancy dress competition in our city but if there's one for adults I would surely take part. I believe celebrating Fathers' Day is beyond religions, it's to show our respect for fathers and thank them for we have today.

I'm christian but at my country we don't celebrate the father's day :) , we only celebrate the mother's day. I agree with you about the religions, I respect them all. I have tons of musliman friends and some of them are like brothers to me.

The child Subhee is looking great and my congratulations to her. I have lot of other religion friends and we are all very close to each other and enjoy each other's company well. We help each other in needy times and share good days together. When my Muslim neighbour was in trouble, my father only gave ration to them. When my mother fell down with fits and my father was in office, the same Muslim neighbour only admitted her in hospital.

Congratulations on your granddaughter's winning the first prize in the Fancy Dress competition! Your granddaughter is so cute with the fancy dress on her. I am so happy to hear the good news. This prize will encourage her to take part in more competitions and win more prizes in the future. You know, it is in fact an accumulation in success in life. May I wish her to win every success in life! Enjoy yourself, Professor.

Your granddaughter is adorable. Father's day really isn't a Christian holiday, it's just something we do once a year to honor our fathers. It was probably created by the greeting card industry.

Hi Professor! Your granddaughter is adorable! She is really very cute! How old is she? I think that is so sweet that she wants to imitate her Grandpa on the computer! And that is great that she can learn on a toy computer. That will be great for her so when she starts school she will already know how to use one! I don't have any children, but love kids and love to watch them grow up and learn! My godchild is now almost 22 and will be out of college next year! I remember when he was little like your granddaughter! Believe me time does fly! He is all grown up now and I still remember changing his diapers, although I won't dare remind him now!

hi professor, so we have a young model in the making eh? that was very generous of you people to let the little girl join competition. i hope she again joins some other kind of competition. that would really make her confidence in herself grow as she will be meeting people and parading herself. father's day was kinda sad now that he has gone to heaven. i just think of the beautiful memories he has left. i miss him. ann
