This is a shot of my Pink Asiatic Lilies I have planted. There's still the bright yellow ones to bloom yet in my yard. The pink and yellow are my faves of all my lilies. These will be cut soon and placed in a vase on my kitchen table or living room end tables. Do you cut your flowers for display in your home? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

My daughter will pick a lily once in awhile in our back yard, but she gets upset when the die. She has been leaving them alone lately. She planted some marigolds in the flower box on the front porch and so far she has not tried to pick any of those.

They are really pretty. I think if I had those I would display them too they are lovely. I pretty much only grow petunias every year and they don't really get that tall now would they last in a vase I don't think. Someday I will plant a rose bush and maybe even some of those pretty Asiatic Lilies then I will be able to pick them and display them that would be nice. It won't hapeen this year but perhaps next year.

Lilies are basically no caring flowers. I plant them and they grow like mad. Some years I hardly water them and they thrive still. Plus they spread greatly as well so more and more each year. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Most people around here have pink or orange lillies. I'm not a fan of them though I do have some left here from the previous owner. I don't cut the flowers for display in my home. I feel they die much to quickly after cut so I'd much rather keep them growing and reproducing more blooms. Though my kids like to pick them alot to give to their teachers, wich is fine till all my flowers have been picked over. *sigh*

I like flowers that have more than one color in them such as these. I used to cut flowers a lot more than I do now, but then I had a lot more flowers at my last two houses...

I don't grow any flowers. I don't know how I would with how my apartment is situated. So I get to enjoy the glimpses of everyone else's gorgeous flowers. And yours are definitely gorgeous!

Oh my goodness Grandpa Bob those are the prettiest I have seen, that reallly gorgeous shade of pink with a slight bluish tint, so lovely. I used to cut flowrs for our home all the time when we had our house. I miss that so much.I have been thinking of getting an african violet or two just to have something living in my room here. Now my son has finally got a job I may be able to move out of here one day soon. The yellow ones sound pretty too. My mom had tiger lilie and they are pretty for awhile but orange was never one of my really favorite colors. lol.

Hi webeishere Yes I love fresh cut flowers in a vase and I set them on my dresser and end-table. Your flowers are simply breath taking.
