I have always loved comedy. I grew up listening to Bill Cosby, watching Red Skelton and laughing at every funny joke, silly antic and humorous insight that I heard. Comedy was clean back then and safe for all ages to enjoy. These days more often than not I have found comedy to be offensive and I have to be very careful about who I listen to. A few months ago my sister sent me a link to a youtube video by Tim Hawkins. It was a video of his "Wife Song". OH, MY, GOSH!!! I nearly died laughing! I went on to look up more videos on youtube and am now saving up to by his DVDs. This guy is hilarious! The great thing about his comedy is that not only is it clean, it's truism comedy, which is my favorite form. On one of his tracks he talks about playground equipment and no matter how many times I watch that one, I have to pause it while I laugh myself to tears. Another good one is his "Favorite Bible Verse" story. Oh, My, Gosh, what a hoot! If you haven't caught Tim's act, by all means check him out. He is about the funniest guy I've seen. He does some musical comedy and likes to do Weird Al style of putting his own words to songs. He is Christian and talks very frankly about things. I just really enjoy him and highly recommend him to all my friends and family. Check him out. I hope you like him as much as I do. What is your favorite comedy act and why?

I enjoy comedy too, and I like all kinds of comedy be it clean or otherwise. I like Bill Cosby's show too. In fact I have a humor blog myself (though it is not updated regularly. I will look for Tim Hawkins on Youtube. Thanks for sharing.
