I was starting a discussion when it dawned on me. Years ago there was womens fashion and mens fashion. Over the years they seem to have combined. Women wear mens clothes. Men wear women's clothes. Men and women both wear makeup, hairspray. They now go to the nail salon. I think its wonderful that men care what they look like just the same as women do. The sad part is that while we have combined our looks, we have created a single, discrimination. Our fashion, lifestyles may be similar. However, the hates are very different. Its amazing how when my parents were children if my dad shaved or used nail polish he would have probably been Strung up by his ankles. He would have been labeled gay. That's why Im so happy to live today. In today's world anything goes. I am so happy to be able to express myself in whatever way I see fit. We have taken the male and female and made it UNISEX. I think its wonderful. YOU?

Its a brave new world and its really wonderful because equality between the two gender is almost at hand. People can now freely express themselves in most part of the world but some things never change like how the church view gays

Not totally unisex, men are still tortured with ties and women with panty hose, but it's a step in the right direction!

Anything goes maybe out on the street but not for me personally. I am not attracted to bag carrying, skinny, short emasculated men. I like my men tall and masculine men that are fit and living there life in the lane with as many motorcycles in it as is feasible. I would be friends with a man that you describe but I would never be attracted to one.

Hi dl! It is more of an "open gender" when it comes to SOME fashion, but not all! There are still some nay sayers when it comes to certain things. We are getting there though, aren't we! And I too am thrilled! It has changed so much throughout my lifetime and I am glad to see that women can wear mens clothes and men can sort of wear womens clothes, but not exactly? It is alot easier for women to pull it off then men still. I wish it were as easy as you described, but it still is more difficult I think for the men. But, UNISEX is making it alot easier! I am someone who is not against anything so everything is ok with me! Anyone can do whatever they want as long as they keep it clean when out in public for the sake of the children!

I don't see men wearing broads or skirts so I think you're a little hasty jumping these conclusions with Unisex story. Indeed we are closer now, as different sexes, than let's say 500 years ago, but that is only because of our mental evolution.

... well for me, yea its true that discrimination has lessen up... though if we think about it, i guess we are creating a world of undecided people... we all like thesame thing... and suddenly, we will all look the same... but are we really contented?

Yeah I also find it interesting as no one is left behind and even some men can do what they were wishing for long time, they can be themselves now. However some en still do not favor the idea and they think about it as girl's stuffs. Moreover I am happy to know that my boyfriend prefer to be himself than going to salon and doing makeups.
