what do you think of people who earn money thru online?

I started to venture on online opportunities just a few weeks ago. Just curious then how people would see people who are into this way of money-making. Would appreciate if you can make your vote, though other answers are most welcome:
What do you THINK OF PEOPLE WHO TRIES TO EAR MONEY THROUGH ONLINE OPPORTUNITIES (e.g. PTCs, Paid to post, affiliate programs)? dO YOU THINK THEY ARE:
1. A BUNCH OF LOSERS. They can't be competitive and succeed in the real world, so
they are trying their luck behind the computers.
2. DESPERATE. They would try anything to put that additional bucks to make
ends meet.
3. NO BRAINERS. They want to earn money by using their hands "CLICKING" and
"TYPING" and not their brains
4. OPPORTUNISTS. They want to earn money by the easier way and thru the
efforts of their referrals
5. THE WISEMEN. They make use of what technology has to offer and grab the opportunity, turning it to their advantage
6. THE WINNERS. Online business is the future. They know where to go and they are way ahead!
7. INTELLECTUALLY GIFTED. They have the mental capacity to work their way among the complexities of new tech/internet terminologies and operations.
8. THE DEDICATED. They have the patience and the determination to learn and earn through the complexities of online business.
Would be glad to know your opinions. Would even appreciate, if you can add more DESCRIPTIONS!

OPPORTUNISTS.
It is because most people would just use the internet to surf, chat and check at their social networking sites that they're registered to. But then there's the other people like most of us here in mylot who takes the opportunity in using internet, do the same things as most people do which is surf and surf, and then make money from it. Isn't it great? So that's why I think they or shall I consider myself I, as an opportunist.

Yes you do have a point there. I guess it is somewhat perceived as something negative. Regarding building up your downline or getting referrals, I don't think there's anything wrong with it nor does it mean capitalizing on what shouldn't be yours. I mean, you do get some credit for introducing someone to a particular site(money making site in particular) so its a bonus for referrers when they refer someone under them. That's just in my opinion. Thanks though for pointing another meaning to it. =)

I think the word opportunist has a negative connotation. When you like to take the easy road and make money out of your referrals, you are capitalizing on something that shouldn't be yours in the first place. I hope that responders to the discussions will take time to understand what the initiator means at the outset...

wow, that's a lot. but i have to be honest. as for number one, i can't work because i can't leave my mom but i can be competitive, trouble is i don't know if i can now.as for number two, not true because i don't consider mylot as something of a work rather than a hobby. number three, actually i have trained myself to think thoroughly, and allow to type with out looking at the key board, who says no brainers
.number four, yeah, i know some one who is an opportunist and that is my former upline.number five, money making online make me wiser from avoiding scams. number six, yeah if you know the site is not a scam and always there, then you're a winner. gifted? nah, just another guy. lastly, yes it's one thing that a money maker should be.

That's so true, Letran.. we don't need to leave the comforts of our home or workplace to be able to participate in the lot, and that's really awesome. myLot has been going on for a few years now, so I'm guessing it is very steady and "stable". I treat this as a hobby too, like you.. a real fascinating hobby. And the news section is one of my favorites too..

I would say that they are lazy people as they are finding all types of ways to earn money and that they are trying very hard to get the money that they want.They are people that would also have patience aswell as people that are willing to try their hand at anything.

I think that online maker can be in any of these categories. For me i would say 8, but to make a real profit and to be in the category of 5 to 8 you need to affiliate marketing by any of the 100's ways(could even say 1000 or more^^) or to start your own business on the net. But first everyone need to learn somewhere before getting rich.

Sure the internet is the future.
Sales gains are very large on internet
I do not recognize in any of the categories(maybe after 10 years
I have a great satisfaction when I see each day increases the number of visitors on my blog or I get a phone "I found your blog on the internet and I am interested..."

You chose a great topic. Well, I would have to say number 8 because it takes perseverance and dedication to earn a living from the Internet. Experienced and legit entrepreneurs and business professionals are making boat loads of money because they are experts in their field and know how to keep their prospects or customers coming back. As I had to learn there is no setup and forget it business out there. You must continue to provide your prospects with valuable products and/or information. So for me, true entrepreneurs are dedicated and that's why earning money for them online is possible.

The intellectually gifted will be the ones whom have affiliate ideas and able to dabble in it and make it work. It is not easy to have a business online, so I think the intellectual falls into this category as well. Other than that, I think money is best earned online for leisure and as something which is by chance only.. there are so many sites which allow to earn a bit, but for those really successful ones, are usually the ones with businesses online or doing affiliate programs.

i agree with you zed. it's not easy to make money online, most specially on the serious one but you know at least no one has to commute long miles just to work.as for me, my long dream is to earn at leas five hundred to one thousand dollars online, that way i don't have to work any more or possibly use the money to save or half be use for business.

for the last two years i am doing online earning but,for the last one year i am earning really,but so far means till now i have earned 90 dollars only online,i too have some language problem,due to that i could not participate in all money paying sites,so i am far behind lot of earning people in mylot,have a nice day

I think that I would label us online earners as resourceful. Economic times for your own personal self can get tough pretty quickly sometimes and it's always good to have a little bit of funds around. I would have to say that my favorite part about online earning is that it provides me a way to have funds that I plan on depositing directly into my savings account.
I would also say that I also think that people that attempt to earn money online are dedicated, they could possibly be desperate but I don't really blame them because I am somewhat desperate at this point as well even with a full time job, they are wise to recognize that there are extra ways to earn income now and we should all be taking advantage of those opportunities, and they are also opportunists and dedicated because they see that if you can gain referrals and are also willing to put a little bit of time into your sites, you could possibly be gaining quite a bit more funds each month.
In my opinion I feel that online earning is an opportunity that has the potential to be able to allow us to work at home possibly and no longer have to break our backs as much at jobs we don't like. I hope more people find out about these kind of opportunities in the future because the more these communities grow the more we will all make.

I remain with the options 5, 6 and 8. They are new opportunities that the Internet offers and there are many people who is taking advantage of it, I believe that one can, it is necessary to have patience and continue searching, to part if it is possible to live with the work online, the persons have mas time for his life, can leave his traditional works and gain many mas money.

I agree with numbers 4 through to 8...there are alot of us trying to earn a few extra cents & dollars online & every little bit helps these days...I probably would also put entreprenuers (not sure how to spell the word properly 
) as doing this is showing initiative to "work" so to speak & could eventually lead to something full time on the net.

uf I think that might be the dedicated and the wisemen. is because is a matter of knowing how to do it and it requires more job than real life to get an descent earn. if the online earning is companied with the real work earn eventually it might replace the 2nd one when the person is no able to work any more and guess what after a long time i think that it might have good funding bases...

I think #4 is the main reason why people want to earn online and for that a lot are giving up because it's not easy, they expect to be easy but it's not, at least not from the beginning and not for me for sure cause i'm at the beginning, but if I were to speak about myself I would choose #4, #5 and #8.But I know that with hard work and dedication I will succeed.Failure is not an option and I mean it.I don't have other options.

nice choices....personally i prefer no. 8, i tried it before just to pass time and i didn't last a week. I am now trying to make myself a blog and hopefully i will no 8 as one of my tools.
