Do You Prefer Dry Rubbed or Saucy Ribs?

I use a dry rub on my ribs and smoke them. the sauce is out and some pepole use a little and some use alot. but everyone that has them loves them. so I think as some other respoders said that it depends on the person. I make my own BBQ sauce I really have not found one i enjoy that I can buy. I do always use the rub, I let it sit for a good bit to get room tempeture before I start to smoke them.

I prefer dry rubbed (preferrably non-pork) ribs. They're delicious and the only meat I'll eat still on the bone. Now, trying to get the family to eat them dry is another story...

I like my original BBQ sauce on my ribs. I even dip the meat into BBQ sauce when im eating because the sauce is so yummy sometimes. I don't like my steak with much on it because i like the taste of that meat how it is. My rubs must be boiled first to get the fat off of them then cooked on the grill. This is the only way i will eat them at home.

I'm a vegeterrian, but I do love those meat-less (soy/tofu) "ribs." I've never been a fan of sauce on any food really, so I'd have to say I like dry rubs better; I love smoky, spicy flavor.

I love ribs too. Best thing to have at a cook-out. I personally prefer dry rubbed ribs or sauce on the side.
