Good exercises for toning the tummy area?

Apart from doing lots of sit-ups, are there any better and good excercises for toning the tummy and stomach area?

Yes there are some standing exercises that are vry good for the tummy area. Knee lifts are very good and also work the legs also touching your opposite elbow to your opposit knee is very good as well. Also boxing moves are vere effective for the midsecion, they are really good for the obliques and the upper abdominals. There is a workout that I do with a DVD called Turbo Jam, you can see a sample of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88MdH1xK8So Just do the exercises they show in this little clip and you will get a good midsection work out as well as a good lower body workout.

Hi ladym, Thanks for this link. It actually looks kind of fun! I do the hula hoop which is also good exercise for the mid-section but I'd like to add to my little routine.

haha! LOL! But no thank you :) I'd rather work at it than go under the knife or get plugs with a tube...my tummy isn't that bad... :)
