Out of those films the only ones I have seen are 'Julie and Julia' and 'Up' I thought that Up itself is probably the best film I have seen for ages! I have always loved Pixar films, and always find them absolutely amazing, and they always have something about them which makes them great for kids and adults, with the humour usually been much more for the adults. Another one like this I enjoyed was 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatball', other favourite fairly recent films are 'Time Travelers Wife', 'The Notebook', 'Harry Brown', and 'The Last Song'

Hello oldchem1! :) I've watched Time Traveler's Wife. Oh my. That should be included on that list. I so like that film. Intense! And Cloudy with a chance of meatball was such a cute movie. I like it when the city was filled with ice cream. Yum! The Notebook is the best love story ever. Gaaah, that should be on that list too! Hehehe.

@ Ilovemellow - Time traveler's wife is one the best love stories that I have watched recently. Though people are saying that the book is a lot better. I haven't seen Cloudy with a chance of meatball but I heard that it is a great movie.

Ah I really love A Beautiful Mind! I also love The Pursuit of Happyness and Up! I cried in all those films. A Beautiful Mind will keep your attention as well as The Pursuit of Happyness. Up is a cute movie! I also suggest The Green Mile (another favorite of mine!), Cast Away , Ice Age series , and City of God (a pretty violent film that would also keep your attention. It has a great storyline and cinematography.)

I have seen Pursuit of happiness, Clueless (By that was a long time ago. I can't remember the story), Up and Beautiful mind. I didn't watch Up at first but I was pleasantly surprised how good the story line is. One of the best movies that I watched is What dreams may come, I am Sam, Basketball Diaries and American History x. For comedy I like Old School and the hangover. For action films Pulp fiction is one of the best in my opinion. Braveheart and Gladiator and 300 has the best sword fight scenes. Great topic

Well, I've watched Ip Man and Ip Man 2. I like it a lot. I like watching karate movies. I have watched Karate Kid 2010. It's awesome too. It's just like the old Karate Kid but with different skills on fighting. The kid is more younger than the old karate kid I guess. I have watched August Rush too, yay I love music! Lately I watched Toy Story 3. I haven't finished it yet tho because I was just watching it online and the stream wasn't good enough, but it was good. I didn't watched the Toy Story 1 and 2 because I didn't know it would be nice. It even was number one in this 2010 movie last Monday I read it having $59 Million payout on cinemas.
