Life is so uncertain

This morning another classmate of mine passed away. We are from the same city; his house is just 100 meters from my home. We read in the same school from 1951 till 1962. After high school, I went for higher studies but he joined bank job and retired as bank manager in 2006. I had met him two days ago at the medicine shop where we buy medicine at whole sell price always for one month. He had high blood pressure and diabetic both. I just came from the funeral ground where his body was burnt. In the last 6 months I have lost many of classmates and friends. This reminds me life is so uncertain, any time my turn will come and I am prepared for this. I am happy, satisfied with the life God me, I don’t have any regrets. Are you happy with your life, your family, friends, any regrets? Share your views on life and its uncertainty. Did any of your friend died recently and you attended the funeral, cremation? Professor

.. right.. we really don't know when our life would end.. that's why it is always nice to live life to the fullest everyday and try to forgive people even if what they did was something hard to forgive.. I know its not easy to do this, but if we try, we can do it.. I'm happy with my life though it was tough and I have so many downs more than ups but I'm striving to live a happy life.. There is no perfect life.. we just have to deal positively with all the difficulties that we encounter..

hi professo yes life is always uncertain and in a place like this retirement center where I had to be because we were made homeless people come here in all age with all sorts of aliments and a few with none but just opted to live in a retirement center which to me is so dumb. I mine if you are healthy live out your live in a real house or apartment not in this place at all. My son now has finally got a job so my hopes of moving out of here and back into an apartment again are high. I am for now pretty happy looking forward to better things this year. I am 83 but feel I have a few years yet and am going to live life as full as possible.

Life on this end is uncertain. We don't even know when it will end. The best way is to live each day to the fullest like as if it is your last so that you will have the most out of this short life. I have always been mindful of the fact that we are only sojourners in this uncertain world so I have made it a point to use my earthly life in preparing for the life far and beyond. That life is where we will all go so we must be sure where it will be. I'm glad I am already sure where I will be spending my eternity.

I think that you are right that you never know when you are going to die aswell as when anyone of your relations or friends are going to get told that they have a terminal illness.I think that it is awful that alot of people get ill soo quick aswell as pass away soo young.Nothing can prepare you for all the shocks that we all get in life.I always say the only certain thing in life is that we will all die at some point so always make the most of every day that you can.

I'm sorry for the passing of your friend. Yes our borrowed life is really uncertain. No one knows when will it end. But if we use it wisely and following God's commandments surely when the time comes we're prepared. Your friend I think is happy now because he's free of every sufferings here on earth; he's with the Lord and this is much better than to suffer from his illness.
