hey yow ET I suck in cross words. I never tried completing one. I tried answering but unfortunately I never completed it once. I started back when I was still in elementary.I'm just amazed how magical it was to find words and match it with those clues. Now I'm fond of playing soduko on my phone. Do you play it? I play it to make me feel sleepy or when am bored.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I used to work crossword puzzles with my grandfather when he was alive and it is one of the things that I remember the most about him. He was always a lot of fun, but that was one of the best bonding activities that we had together. You see, my grandfather had congestive heart failure from the time that I was born and because of that we weren't able to bond in physical activities as well.

my father is fond of answering crossword puzzles in every newspaper available when i was still a kid..i tried answering it too but i can never get to finish a single puzzle..i guess my vocabulary is not broad enough to solve that kind of puzzle..so i simply gave up on it and focus on playing scrabble instead..it almost the same concept for me except that i get to put my own words and it's my choice how long the words will be..

I love doing crosswords but I just don't get enough time to do them as I'm too busy doing other things around the house & also looking for ways to earn online. There is a magazine here in Australia that it my favourite...it has lots of crosswords & other puzzles which you can enter into competitions every week.

Yes sometimes our days goes very fast, because every minute we need to do different things, but it is nice that you like to do crosswords. I am too busy with other things and this is a reason why I do crosswords very rarely. If you ever have free time to do crosswords it would be nice.

My grandmother loved crossword puzzles. I like them too but I don't do them near as much as she used to. If I am going to be on a long trip or flying on an airplane I like to take a crossword puzzle book with me to keep me occupied.

I think you would enjoy the documentary Wordplay. I thought it was fascinating. I really enjoy a good documentary on just about anything. Here is the "blurb" on Netflix for it: From the masters who create the mind-bending diversions, to the tense commpetition at the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, Patrick Creadon's documentary reveals a fascinating look at a decidedly addictive pastime. Creadon captures New York Times editor Will Shortz at work, talks to celebrity solvers - including Bill Clinton and Ken Burns - and presents an intimate look at the national tournament and its competitors. The crosswords these contestants do are way above my head, but it's just so fun to watch how they get into it, and what happens at the actual tournament.

They are great mind work and a great way to learn for sure. I always enjoyed them but there was always one word I just could not get.

I have a crossword app on my iPod Touch, and I really really like it. It's fun to do, and I don't use up any paper or ink in the process. I love that I can do crosswords, word searches, and even read books on my iPod touch, as opposed to using up paper, and cutting down trees.

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh--"I hope that all people here in myLot fell well" was funny and reminded me of my last fall in which I broke my toe and hit my head! I do like crosswords but I prefer Sudoku. I used to do the crossword in the newspaper when I could afford to have it everyday and it was a relaxing way to have some fun and exercise my brain. My former mother in law does the crossword and Sudoku every day, she's in her 80's and wants to stay "sharp", bless her. It must work because she still had the thinking power of the accountant she once was.

Sudoku really isn't that hard, you just have to have some basic math skills, adding mostly. The numbers in each column are 1-9 but can't be repeating in adjoining columns. There are a lot of place on the internet to learn it, it's a lot of fun!

I enjoy crosswords, but I like word finds better. I think crosswords are great and you learn new things, and are challenged to try to remember other things you may have learned in the past. Word Finds are also good to challenge your knowledge as some are laid out in a way that they also tell a story (a historical story at that). I don't do them frequently, but I have, and they are very fun.

It can also be fun for t.v. trivia. Back when we would buy a t.v. guide, it was fun to do the crosswords in the back as it would pertain to shows we'd watch, or it'd be a challenge to guess for shows we don't watch.
