Its only a matter of time before medical science, utilizing specialized tests and scans, will develop a computer program that will make the month and year of your death available to you. Some people will want to know their death date, so they can plan their lives and accomplish their goals in the time they have remaining on earth. Others will be only too happy to live their lives from day to day, with never a thought of their personal demise. On which side of the fence do you stand, regarding this fateful question?

Hi barehugs, If this were to happen during my lifetime, I would prefer not to know, at least that's the way I feel now. Blessings.

Oh, no problem! Why not take a few minutes right now, find a piece of paper and a pen. Start at the top and say; Good bye Everyone! its been a nice time! Please find my bills All Payed. The police have nothing on me, (that they can prove, and everything else has been canceled!

Hi hugs...I'm pretty sure I'm happy with things as they are. However you do give good reasons for knowing. I think I would soon focus on my day of departure and forget to live as full a life as I'm able to. I would probably stress so much that I would bring the date forward. So, no thanks, leave me in blissful ignorance.

Live each day to the fullest, and get a good night's sleep. Life is only what we make it! Leave the rest to your Maker. I think this is the way it's supposed to be!

I'll wait not knowing. It will come soon enough and knowing would just give it more importance in my life.

Well that isn't really possible i believe. When people come to know the day the die it would be a turn off for them as they keep dreading as the day they die is coming more and more closer. That's one of the reasons why God didn't give such power to man. If man can control everything there would be no balance in the world. I wouldn't want to know when i would die. I would just want to enjoy life and live till how much i can.

I too believe that life would be happier if we never knew when the end was destined. There is something to be said, of going through life like a leaf blowing in the wind. Who doesn't know, doesn't care, just go where the wind takes you!

Hello! I think our birth and our live is a very special thing and it is given by God, however, my believe in God is quite small...I think that we are here, each of us with a target and we have to be happy for each day we are given. I think living in this world is like a miracle...just think of your heart, isn't it a miracle that we breath, that our heart beats? isn't it something special? for example, why apple cannot breath or talk? why dogs cannot talk? our live is a very special thing given by God and I think I would live like I have lived. I wouln't want to ruin my target of life...I believe my life has some sense...and even if I would die tomorrow, I was just meant to be like that. Imagine if you would know when you will die = you would think of your last day every second! And how could you leave further if you would know exactly when you will die...no, I think I would just leave as it is now...Happy mylotting!

barebufs I am on the side to live my life each day without worrying about it, I want to really live while I am alive. to savor each day and be so grateful for the gifts of each day. After all all we ever really have is today. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not here yet so live thjs day and be alive, savor it, be gratedful for it. smile and laugh and be happy

I liked the way you said that!-"really live while I'm alive and savor each day!" Yes you are right! There is no tomorrow, yesterday is gone, there is Just Today!

this could be better than unexpected departure. but i wish, if we have a choice, to die with no pain. i don't want to die in sickness.
